It was run on April 9, 2006. Due to a mistake made by event organizers, not enough fuel was brought to Istanbul to be able to supply all the entrants for a distance of 1000 km. Intercity Istanbul Park ( tr, İstanbul Park), also known as the Istanbul Racing Circuit or initially as the Istanbul Otodrom, is a motor sports race track in the Tuzla, Istanbul, Tuzla district of Istanbul, Turkey. Jens Reno Møller (born 3 January 1971) is a Danish racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series. Having previously competed in the Danish Touringcar Championship, European Touring Car Cup and Le Mans Series amongst others. Racing career Møller began his career in 2002 in the Danish Touringcar Championship, finishing twentieth in the standings. He continued in the championship for many years, finishing seventh in the overall championship standings in 2009, as well as winning the independent championship that year. In the 2004 he made his 24 Hours of Le Mans debut with the Lister Storm Racing team, teaming up with fellow Danes John Nielsen and Casper Elgaard, they finished ninth in the LMP1 class. Paul Alexandre Belmondo (born 23 April 1963) is a French racing driver who raced in Formula One for the March and Pacific Racing teams. He was born in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, the son of actor Jean-Paul Belmondo and grandson of sculptor Paul Belmondo. Around 1981, Paul gained publicity for becoming the lover of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco. Through 1987, he participated in Formula 3 and Formula 3000, although he was never a top 10 championship finisher in either. Larbre Compétition is a French auto racing team founded in 1988 by Jack Leconte. Based at the Circuit du Val de Vienne in Le Vigeant, Larbre has had considerable success in the Porsche Carrera Cup, French GT Championship, and international FIA GT Championship. The Lola B06/10 is a Le Mans Prototype developed by Lola Cars International for use in the LMP1 class of the American Le Mans Series, Le Mans Series, and 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was developed in 2006 as a replacement for the Lola B2K/10 as well as the MG-Lola EX257. It shared much of its mechanical elements and design with the LMP2 class Lola B05/40, which was developed the year prior. Development Due to similarity in the new regulations between LMP1 and LMP2, Lola was able to easily develop an all new LMP1 car based on their existing and successful B05/40 LMP2. Sharing most of the design elements evolved from the MG-Lola EX257, the B06/10 would bring them to a larger scale meant for larger engines than the LMP2 class allowed.
