The Serbian First League (Serbian: Прва лига Србије; ''Prva liga Srbije'') is the second-highest football league in Serbia (then Serbia and Montenegro). The league is operated by the Serbian FA. 20 teams competed in this league for the 2005–06 season, which was the league's inaugural season. Two teams were promoted to the Serbian SuperLiga and six were relegated the Serbian League, the third-highest division overall in the Serbian football league system. Serbian First League
The Serbian First League ( sr, Прва лига Србије / Prva liga Srbije), referred to as the Mozzart Bet First League ( sr, Моцарт Бет Прва лига / Mozzart Bet Prva liga) for sponsorship reasons, is the name for the second tier in professional Serbia's football league. The league was formed in 2005, following a reshuffle of the second tier Serbo-Montenegrin divisions. It is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. Format The league is usually formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Football Association of Serbia completed a restructure of the league system, and in season 2020/2021 that meant 18 clubs would be competing in the Serbian First League, the number of clubs will go back to the usual 16 following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season. FK ČSK Čelarevo
Fudbalski klub ČSK Pivara (Serbian Cyrillic: ЧСК Пивара) is a football club from Čelarevo, a village near Bačka Palanka, Serbia. It was founded in 1925 as ČOSK ( sr, Čebski Omladinski Sportski Klub or ЧОСК, Чебски Омладински Спортски Клуб). The village of Čelarevo was called Čeb before World War II, hence the name. History In 1946, the club changed its name to Radnički Čelarevo until 1950 when the club was called SK Podunavlje. By the end of the year, the club had entered to the Championship of Novi Sad. They played there for two years. In 1952 they played in the Regional League of Novi Sad. In 1953 Podunavlje and another football club called Krajišnik joined and formed ČSK. The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. History This enterprise, according to its founders, was created in January 1994 by three regulars of the Rec.Sport.Soccer (RSS) Usenet newsgroup: Lars Aarhus, Kent Hedlundh, and Karel Stokkermans. 2006–07 Serbian SuperLiga
The 2006–07 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Meridian SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) season started on 5 August 2006. The winners were Red Star Belgrade with their 25th title. FK Zemun and FK Voždovac were relegated to the 2nd league of Serbia. The SuperLiga will change format from next season with the league no longer being divided into title and relegation groups midway through the campaign. Instead the 12 teams will play each other three times in a conventional league format. Fudbalski klub Novi Pazar () is a professional football club from Novi Pazar, Serbia. The club was formed in 1928 as FK Deževa. FK Novi Pazar compete in the Serbian SuperLiga and play their home games at the 12,000 capacity Novi Pazar City Stadium. The club has got a B team FK Novi Pazar 1928 who plays in the Serbian Zone League. The club draws the majority of its support from the Bosniak population, as Novi Pazar is the cultural centre of the Bosniak Muslims in Serbia. FK Vlasina (Serbian Cyrillic: ФК Власина) is a football club based in Vlasotince, Serbia. History The club is one of the oldest football clubs in former Yugoslavia. Founded by locals returning from higher education in major European capitals between the two World Wars, FK Vlasina exists since 1920. FK Radnički Pirot () is a football club based in Pirot, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League East, the third tier of the national league system. History The club was founded immediately after World War II in 1945. They made their Yugoslav Second League debut in the 1969–70 campaign. Over the next 12 seasons, the club competed in the second tier of Yugoslav football, before being relegated in 1981. OFK Mladenovac
OFK Mladenovac () is a football club based in Mladenovac, Belgrade, Serbia. They compete in the Belgrade Zone League, the fourth tier of the national league system. History The original club became a member of the Belgrade Football Subassociation in 1924 under the name MSK Vojvoda Katić. They changed their name to FK Jedinstvo in 1945 following World War II and eventually to OFK Mladenovac in 1962. Fudbalski klub Spartak Ždrepčeva Krv () is a professional football club from Subotica, Serbia, that plays in the Serbian SuperLiga. The club was founded in 1945 and was named after Jovan Mikić Spartak, the leader of the Partisans in Subotica, who was a national hero and was killed in 1944. FK Sevojno
FK Sevojno (Serbian Cyrillic: ФК Севојно) was a football club from Sevojno, Užice, Serbia. History By middle May in 1950 begins the construction of the copper rolling mill. The workers formed a football team that soon after, on 25 June 1950, played its first unofficial match against neighbouring and future city rivals FK Sloboda Užice. Afterwards, ambitious workers led by the construction executives Mr. Rada Popović and Mr. Raco Jovović officially form a football club on 7 July 1951 initially named "FK Radnički".
