2004–05 Ergotelis F.C. Season
The 2004–05 season was Ergotelis F.C., Ergotelis' 75th season in existence and the club's first season ever in the Superleague Greece, Greek Alpha Ethniki, later renamed the Superleague Greece. Ergotelis also participated in the Greek cup, entering the competition in the First Round. The content of this article covers club activities from 1 July 2004 until 31 May 2005. Despite achieving notable victories over traditional Greek giants Olympiacos F.C., Olympiacos and PAOK FC, PAOK, the team was relegated in the end of the season, finishing in the 15th place. Ergotelis Football Club () is a Greek professional Association football, football club based in Heraklion, Crete, which competes in the Heraklion Football Clubs Association, FCA Heraklion A1, the fourth tier of the Greek football league system, and hosts its home games at the Pankritio Stadium. Established in 1929 and named after the ancient Cretan Ergoteles of Himera, Olympic runner, it is part of ''Gymnastics Club Ergotelis'' (). Alkis Dimitris
Alkis Dimitris (; born 23 July 1980) is a Greek football manager and former professional player who played as a defender. He has spent the majority of his career representing Cretan clubs in various leagues of the Greek football league system, including the Greek Superleague. Playing career Born in Sarandë, Dimitris' family moved to Heraklion, Crete where he began playing football with Ergotelis in the Delta Ethniki. Charalabos Charalabakis
Charalampos Charalampakis (; born 31 August 1980) is a Greek retired professional football defender. Career Charalampakis began his career at his local Alpha Ethniki side OFI. During his time with the Cretan club, Charalabakis managed to play in the 2000–01 UEFA Cup and was called up to the Greek national U−21 squad once in 2001. He left OFI to join fellow Alpha Ethniki club Egaleo, but made no appearances for the Athens-based club in the competition.
