2004 OFC Nations Cup Squads
The 2004 OFC Nations Cup was an international football tournament that was held in Adelaide, Australia from 29 May to 6 June 2004 (with a two-legged final taking place on 9 and 12 October 2004). The 6 national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of players; only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament. An initial four-team qualifying phase took place in Samoa and the Solomon Islands from 10 to 19 May 2004 allowing the top four, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Tahiti and Vanuatu, to move on and join Australia and New Zealand at the main tournament. Stephen Laybutt
Stephen John Laybutt (3 September 1977 – 13 January 2024) was an Australian professional soccer player who played as a defender (association football), defender. Laybutt came out as gay in 2021. He died by suicide in January 2024. Early life and career Laybutt was born in Lithgow and played youth football at the FFA Centre of Excellence, Australian Institute of Sport before starting his senior career with Wollongong Wolves FC, Wollongong City in 1995. Tim Cahill
Timothy Filiga Cahill (; born 6 December 1979) is an Australian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder but also played as a striker on many occasions. A box-to-box midfielder, Cahill became recognised for "his aggressive and powerful approach and his ability to head the ball in the penalty area". Josip Skoko (born 10 December 1975) is an Australian former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder for North Geelong Warriors, Hajduk Split, Genk, Gençlerbirliği, Wigan Athletic, Stoke City and Melbourne Heart.
