Scottrade Center
The Enterprise Center is an 18,096-seat arena located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Its primary tenant is the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League, but it is also used for other functions, such as NCAA basketball, NCAA hockey, concerts, professional wrestling and more. In a typical year, the facility hosts about 175 events. Industry trade publication Pollstar has previously ranked Enterprise Center among the top ten arenas worldwide in tickets sold to non-team events, but the facility has since fallen into the upper sixties, as of 2017. 2003–04 Northern Iowa Panthers Men's Basketball Team
The 2003–04 Northern Iowa Panthers men's basketball team represented the University of Northern Iowa during the 2003–04 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Panthers, led by third-year head coach Greg McDermott, played their home games at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa and were members of the Missouri Valley Conference (The Valley). They finished the season 21–10, 12–6 in MVC play to finish in second place. They defeated SW Missouri State in the championship game of the Missouri Valley tournament, and received an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Playing as the No. 14 seed in the Midwest region, UNI was defeated by No. 3 seed and eventual National runner-up Georgia Tech in the opening round. Greg McDermott
Greg McDermott (born November 25, 1964) is an American basketball coach who has been the head coach of the Creighton Bluejays men's basketball team since 2010. Previously, McDermott served as the head coach at Wayne State College, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa, and Iowa State. He is the father of NBA player Doug McDermott. Early life McDermott grew up in Cascade, Iowa, and played basketball for Cascade High School. A 6'8" center, he then played college basketball for the Northern Iowa Panthers from 1984 to 1988. In 1988, he earned a B.A. degree from Northern Iowa. He is the father of current NBA player Doug McDermott. Coaching career Early coaching career McDermott began his coaching career as an assistant coach at North Dakota between 1989 and 1994, and during his tenure helped lead the Fighting Sioux to five consecutive NCAA Division II tournaments. The 2003–04 Illinois State Redbirds men's basketball team represented Illinois State University during the 2003–04 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Redbirds, led by first year head coach Porter Moser, played their home games at Redbird Arena and competed as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference. The 2003–04 Southern Illinois Salukis men's basketball team represented Southern Illinois University Carbondale during the 2003–04 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Salukis were led by first-year head coach Matt Painter and played their home games at the SIU Arena in Carbondale, Illinois as members of the Missouri Valley Conference. They finished the season 25–5, 17–1 in MVC play to finish as regular season champion.
