2004 Miami Dolphins Season
The 2004 Miami Dolphins season was the team's 39th overall, and 35th as a member of the National Football League. The Dolphins were unable to improve upon their previous season's output of 10–6, instead only going 4–12 after starting the season 0–6. The team was adversely affected by the premature retirement of their star running back, Ricky Williams, and the trade of holdout defensive end Adewale Ogunleye for wide receiver Marty Booker, as well as career ending injuries to fullback Rob Konrad and defensive tackle Tim Bowens. With this season record below .500 the team would have their first losing season since 1988. To make matters worse, two of their games were postponed due to Hurricane Ivan and Hurricane Jeanne. Judd Garrett
Judd Garrett (born June 25, 1967) is a former American football running back in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys. He also was a member of the Las Vegas Posse in the Canadian Football League and the London Monarchs in the World League of American Football. He played college football at Princeton University. He is the former Director of Pro Scouting for the Dallas Cowboys. Tony Wise (football Coach)
Anthony Charles Wise (born December 28, 1951) was an American football coach. He won one Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL) and one national championship at the University of Miami. He played college football at Ithaca College. Early years Wise attended Shaker High School, where he practiced football, lacrosse and ice hockey. He accepted a football scholarship from Ithaca College to play as an offensive lineman. Bernard Parmalee (born September 16, 1967) is an American football coach who is the running backs coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). Jerry Sullivan (born July 13, 1944) is a former American football coach who was an offensive assistant for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He's spent 25-years in the NFL, 24 of them as a wide receivers coach. He also spent over 20-years as a college football coach. Joel Collier (born December 25, 1963) is an American football executive who is the director of pro personnel for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). Christopher Flyn Foerster (born October 12, 1961) is an American football coach who currently serves as the run game coordinator and offensive line coach for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). Marc Marlyn Trestman (born January 15, 1956) is an American football and Canadian football coach. Richard Spielman (born December 2, 1962) is an American football executive who was most recently the general manager of the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL) from 2012 to 2022. Bryan Jon Wiedmeier (October 19, 1959 – June 7, 2016) was an American National Football League executive.
