The 2003–04 season was the 104th season in Società Sportiva Lazio's history and their 16th consecutive season in the top-flight of Italian football. Despite financial problems, Lazio attained a respectable 6th place in Serie A and won the Coppa Italia, defeating Juventus in the two-legged final. Roberto Mancini
Roberto Mancini (; born 27 November 1964) is an Italian football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of the Italy national team. As a player, Mancini operated as a deep-lying forward, and was best known for his time at Sampdoria, where he played more than 550 matches, and helped the team win the Serie A league title, four Coppa Italia titles, and the European Cup Winners' Cup. He was capped 36 times for Italy, taking part at UEFA Euro 1988 and the 1990 FIFA World Cup, achieving semi-final finishes in both tournaments, although he was never put onto the pitch during the 1990 tournament. In 1997, after 15 years at Sampdoria, Mancini left the club to join Lazio, where he won a further '' scudetto'' and Cup Winners' Cup, in addition to the UEFA Super Cup and two more Coppa Italia titles. Luciano Zauri
Luciano Zauri (; born 20 January 1978) is an Italian football coach and a former player who played as a full-back or wide midfielder on either flank. He is in charge as head coach of Serie C club Pescara. Club career Atalanta Zauri made his debut in Serie A in the 1996–97 season with Atalanta in a 4–0 loss at home to Roma. He spent the following season with Chievo Verona before returning to Bergamo with Atalanta in the 1998–99 season. Zauri then spent the following five seasons with Atalanta, three of which were in Serie A and two in Serie B. Simone Inzaghi
Simone Inzaghi (; born 5 April 1976) is an Italian professional football manager and former player. He is the head coach of Serie A club Inter Milan. The younger brother of Filippo Inzaghi, Simone played as a striker for a host of clubs during his professional career, including Piacenza and Lazio. He remained for more than a decade at the Roman club, winning major honours including a scudetto in the 1999–2000 season, a European Super Cup, three Coppa Italias and two Supercoppa Italianas. Fabio Liverani
Fabio Liverani (; born 29 April 1976) is an Italian football manager and former midfielder, who was most recently in charge of Cagliari. He made 288 Serie A appearances across 12 seasons, representing Perugia, Lazio, Fiorentina and Palermo. He was the first black player for the Italy national team, playing three matches from 2001 to 2006. In 2013, Liverani began his managerial career with a brief spell at top-flight club Genoa. Giuseppe Favalli
Giuseppe Favalli (; born 8 January 1972) is an Italian former professional footballer. A versatile, consistent, tenacious and experienced defender, Favalli was capable of playing as a centre back as well as on the left or right flank as a full back. After beginning his career with Cremonese in 1988, he played for Serie A clubs Lazio, Internazionale and Milan. At international level, Favalli represented the Italy national team on eight occasions between 1994 and 2004, and was a member of his nation's UEFA Euro 2004 squad. Roberto Muzzi (; born 21 September 1971) is an Italian former professional football striker, currently contracted with Cagliari as a "club manager". During his career, he played for several Italian clubs including A.S. Roma, Pisa Calcio, Cagliari Calcio, Udinese Calcio, and S.S. Lazio. Giuliano Giannichedda
Giuliano Giannichedda (; born 21 September 1974) is an Italian professional football manager, and former footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He appeared in 281 Serie A games over the course of twelve seasons (three goals scored), mainly in representation of Udinese and Lazio. Club career Born in Pontecorvo, Frosinone, Giannichedda started his senior career with A.S. Sora Calcio 1907 in the fourth division, promoting to the third level at the end of the second of his three years. Fabrizio Casazza
Fabrizio Casazza (born 16 September 1970) is an Italian former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Playing career Casazza started his career at Sampdoria, but spent his career at Serie C1 for Fidelis Andria and Pro Sesto. He transferred to Verona in 1994, started his first Serie B season. He then played for Torino (Serie B) and Venezia (Serie A) before rejoin U.C. Sampdoria in 2000, to play second goalkeeper role, behind Matteo Sereni (2000–01), Luca Mondini (2001–02) and Luigi Turci (2002–03). He was signed by S.S. Stefano Fiore
Stefano Fiore (; born 17 April 1975) is an Italian football manager and former player, who played as an attacking midfielder or on the right wing. He was in charge as manager technical area of Nuova Cosenza Calcio in Serie D. Fiore played for several Italian clubs throughout his career; he started out with Cosenza in 1992, before moving to Parma for a season in 1994, where he made his Serie A debut and won the UEFA Cup. He spent two seasons at Padova and Chievo, before returning to Parma again for two more seasons in 1997, where he broke into the starting line-up and won a double which consisted of his second UEFA Cup and the Coppa Italia in 1999. Dejan Stanković
Dejan Stanković ( sr-Cyrl, Дејан Станковић, , born 11 September 1978) is a Serbian professional manager and former player. He currently manages Italian club Sampdoria. He captained the Serbia national team from 2007 until 2011, when he announced his retirement from international football. Stanković began his career at Red Star Belgrade, before joining Lazio in 1998. He spent more than five years with the latter club before joining Inter Milan, where he remained until his retirement in 2013.
