Giorgia Bronzini (born 3 August 1983) is an Italian former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2003 and 2017. She won the women's road race in the UCI Road World Championships in both 2010 and 2011 and the women's points race in the UCI Track Cycling World Championships in 2009. Born in Piacenza, Bronzini took a total of 80 victories on the road and the track, including stages of the Giro d'Italia Femminile, La Route de France, the Tour of Qatar, the Tour of California, and the Tour of Chongming Island. After a 16-year career, in August 2018 Bronzini announced that she would retire at the end of the season and become a ''directeur sportif'' with Trek Bicycle Corporation's new women's team, in 2019. Emma Davies Jones ( Davies, born 4 October 1978) is a British Olympic cyclist. She competed in the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. Biography Born in Knutsford, Cheshire. Davies began cycling with the Manchester Wheelers' Club in 1990, aged 12, the first time she went out on a ride she fell, but made Harry Hall promise not to tell her parents in case the prevented her from participating in future. She enjoyed the experience so much she went on to compete, representing Britain at the UCI Junior World Championships in 1995 and 1996. She changed disciplines in 1997, from being a sprinter to an endurance track rider. Her riding developed which reflected in her results and maturity. She was then selected to compete at the 2000 Summer Olympics. Davies became the pursuit national champion in 2001 and successfully defended her title in 2002. Evelyn Yesenia García Marroquín (born December 29, 1982) is a Salvadoran cycle racer, who specialises as an all-rounder, having won time-trials and mountain stages in the past. She has won the Vuelta a El Salvador on two occasions, the only woman to do so, in 2004 and 2007. Born in Santa Ana, García competed in the Summer Olympic Games in 2004 and 2008, both times in the road race and the track individual pursuit. Rebecca Quinn (born May 24, 1971) is an American professional racing cyclist from Quakertown, Pennsylvania. Quinn finished third in the 2007 UCI Track Cycling World Championships - Women's scratch but was relegated as she had made contact with another rider during the sprint finish. Quinn took USA Cycling to arbitration in a Colorado Springs courtroom on July 9, 2008, after she was not selected as part of the squad for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She claimed that Sarah Hammer was selected in her place due to favoritism as Hammer is engaged to be married to the team coach, Andy Sparks. Although the court did not find in her favor, they did order USA Cycling to pay the costs as the actions of their coaches had caused legitimate doubt over the fairness of any rider being selected. Adriana ("Adrie") Visser (born 19 October 1983 in Hoorn) is a former Dutch track and road racer who lives in Wieringerwerf. Visser started her professional career in 2001, when she finished second at the Dutch road race championship. She came fifth in the time trial. In track cycling she won her first national titles, becoming Dutch champion in the 500m time trial and sprint. She also won a silver medal in the points race. At the world championships in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania, USA, she was seventh in the 500m time trial and eighth in the sprint and individual pursuit. Rikke Olsen Siegemund (born 19 April 1975) is a retired badminton player from Denmark. She won the mixed doubles title at the World Junior Championships in 1992 and the girls' doubles title at the European Junior Championships in 1993. Born in Søndre Roskilde, Olsen came from the badminton family, and started playing at the age of six. She trained in Kastrup-Magleby BK and played for the team for eight seasons, won fourteen National titles, seven World Championships bronze medals, three times runner-up in All England Open, and reached in to the bronze medal match at the Olympic Games in 1996, 2000 and 2004. During her career, she was ranked as world No. 1 in the mixed doubles and No. 2 in the women's doubles. After retiring from the tournament, she became the national junior coach.
