Yokohama International Swimming Pool
is a swimming venue in Yokohama, Japan. The main pool is converted to a basketball arena in fall and winter by setting up panels on the floor. This Pitch (sports field), sports court can be slippery. Rhiannon Jeffrey (born October 25, 1986) is a former American swimmer who won a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Swimming career Jeffrey began swimming at the age of six, and won eight Florida state titles while in high school at Atlantic Community High School in Delray Beach, Florida. She was named state swimmer of the year four years in a row by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. In 2003, for her senior year at Atlantic, she was joined on the swim team by her younger sister Kirstie. Jeffrey's first taste of international success was at the 2002 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships where she swam on the U.S. 4x100 freestyle relay team that took a silver medal. Mary Elizabeth Hill (born November 8, 1985) is a former freestyle swimmer from the United States, who won the gold medal in the women's 400-metre freestyle event at the 2003 Pan American Games. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, she also won gold in the 800-metre free relay at the 2005 Summer Universiade, and finished fifth in the 200-metre freestyle and seventh in the 200-metre butterfly. Jessica Deglau (born May 27, 1980) was a member of the Canadian Olympic team in swimming in the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games. Deglau swam for the Vancouver Pacific Swim Club in her youth, until becoming a member of the national team. In addition to swimming on the national team, she swam for and graduated from the University of British Columbia. The Vancouver native first broke the Canadian record in the 200-meter butterfly at the 1996 Olympics clocking 2:11.68 for sixth spot and bettered it two years later at the world championships, again finishing sixth.
