Manohar Parrikar
Manohar Parrikar (born Manohar Gopalkrishna Prabhu Parrikar; 13 December 1955 – 17 March 2019) was an Indian politician and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party who served as Chief Minister of Goa from 14 March 2017 until his death. Previously, he was Chief Minister of Goa from 2000 to 2005 and from 2012 to 2014 and from 2017 to 2019. He also served as the Minister of Defence from October 2014 to March 2017. In January 2020, he was posthumously awarded Padma Bhushan. Parrikar proposed the name of Narendra Modi as the prime ministerial candidate before 2013 BJP parliamentary elections convention in Goa. Atanasio Monserrate, also known as Babush, is an Indian politician from the state of Goa. Babush is a three term member of the Goa Legislative Assembly. He is a member of the Goa Legislative Assembly from Panaji. He was the Member of Legislative Assembly for Taleigao. He is married to Jennifer Monserrate, Member of Legislative Assembly, Taleigao. Wilfred De Souza
Wilfred de Souza (23 April 1927 – 4 September 2015) was a surgeon and politician from Goa, India. He served as Goa's first Deputy Chief Minister of Goa and chief minister on three occasions when he was a member of the Indian National Congress and the Goa Rajiv Congress Party, during his third tenure. Political career Dr de Souza is credited, together with allies such as Govind Panvelcar, with the first Congress Party victory in Goa in 1980. From 1963 until 1979 Goan politics had been dominated by the regional parties, particularly the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party. In July 1998 Dr de Souza formed the Goa Rajiv Congress Party as a splinter group of the INC. Dayanand Rayu Mandrekar is an Indian politician from the state of Goa. He was a four term member of the Goa Legislative Assembly representing the Siolim constituency. Political career Dayanand Mandrekar was first elected to the Goa Legislative Assembly in the 1999 Goa Legislative Assembly election from the Siolim constituency as a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He retained the Siolim in the 2002, 2007 and 2012 Assembly elections.
