Djurgårdens IF Fotbollsförening – commonly known as Djurgårdens IF, Djurgården Fotboll (official name), Djurgården (), and (especially locally) Djurgår'n (), Dif or DIF – is the men's association football department of its parent association Djurgårdens IF. Founded 1891 on the island of Djurgården, the club's home ground is Tele2 Arena, situated in the Johanneshov district of Stockholm. Competing in the highest Swedish tier, Allsvenskan, the club has won the league twelve times and the cup five times. The league titles have mainly been won during three separate eras. The first period was the 1910s, when they won four league titles. The second era occurred in the 1950s and 60s, when Djurgården also won the league four times. The most recent era was the first half of the 00s when they won both the league and the cup three times. Stefan Rehn
Jan Stefan Rehn (born 22 September 1966) is a Swedish football manager and former professional player who played as a midfielder. As a player he represented Djurgårdens IF, Everton, IFK Göteborg, and Lausanne Sports, winning a combined six Swedish Championships with the two Swedish clubs. He won 45 caps for the Sweden national team and represented his country at UEFA Euro 1992 and the 1994 FIFA World Cup. He also represented the Sweden Olympic team at the 1988 Summer Olympics. Club career Rehn was born in Stockholm. After playing for a local club, he joined Djurgårdens IF from Stockholm. He made his debut in the senior team in the 1984 season. Niclas Rasck
Niclas Leif Rasck (born 10 March 1969) is a Swedish former footballer who played as a defender and spent most of his career with Djurgårdens IF. He made 152 appearances for Djurgården. Prior to joining the Stockholm club, he played for Örebro SK and Ludvika FK, where his career began. He declared his retirement from professional football at the end of the 2006 season. Magnus Pehrsson
Karl Magnus Pehrsson (born 25 May 1976) is a Swedish football manager and former professional player who is the Director of Football at Spanish club Vélez CF. Club career Pehrsson started his career in IFK Lidingö. He played for Djurgårdens IF and IFK Göteborg in Sweden, as well as Bradford City in England. For the 1999 season, he rejoined Djurgården. He retired from football as a player due to an injury in 2003. International career Pehrsson represented Sweden at the youth and B levels. Björn Ove Christer Mattiasson (born 29 July 1971) is a Swedish football manager and former player. He most notably played for IF Elfsborg, AIK, and Djurgårdens IF and made two appearances for the Sweden national team. He was the Allsvenskan top scorer of 1997. Club career Starting off his career with Byttorps IF, Mattiasson made his Allsvenskan debut with IF Elfsborg and was the 1997 Allsvenskan top scorer with the team. Anders Erik Limpar (born 24 September 1965) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Limpar featured for the clubs IF Brommapojkarna, Young Boys, Cremonese, Arsenal, Everton, Birmingham City, AIK, Colorado Rapids and Djurgårdens IF during a career that spanned between 1981 and 2002. Bo Markus Karlsson (born 30 August 1972) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a defender. Karlsson joined Djurgården from BKV Norrtälje for the 1996 season as a midfielder. Andreas Isaksson
Jan Andreas Isaksson (; born 3 October 1981) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Isaksson began his career at local Trelleborgs FF, before briefly representing Juventus. He would later return to Sweden, where he won two Allsvenskan titles with Djurgårdens IF. After two seasons with Rennes, he was signed for £2 million by Manchester City of the Premier League, where he was not a regular. After four seasons in the Eredivisie with PSV, he joined Kasımpaşa in Turkey on a free transfer in 2012.
