1st NWHL All-Star Game
The 1st NWHL All-Star Game took place on January 24, 2016 at HarborCenter in Buffalo, New York. The event featured two 20-minute periods in a 4-on-4 format and a Skills Competition. Team Pfalzer entered the game with a 4-0 lead having won all events in the Skills Competition. This edition of the All-Star Game featured a "fantasy draft" format in order to determine the rosters. The team captains were Hilary Knight from the Boston Pride, and forward Emily Pfalzer, also a team captain with the Buffalo Beauts. Team Knight had the first pick overall and selected Kacey Bellamy. Alyssa Gagliardi
Alyssa Marie Gagliardi (born April 2, 1992) is an American ice hockey defender currently with the PWHPA. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Gagliardi is one of the first women from Raleigh to become a professional ice hockey player. Playing career Gagliardi played NCAA college hockey at Cornell University. During her four years with the team, she accumulated 89 points with the Cornell Big Red women's ice hockey program. Gagliardi was a member of four ECAC championship teams with Cornell. She would serve as assistant captain for the team in her junior year, and co-captain in her senior year. Shiann Darkangelo
Shiann Darkangelo (born November 28, 1993) is an American ice hockey player who currently plays with the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She has played at the international level with Team USA and won gold at the 2016 IIHF Women's World Championship with the team. At the NCAA Division I level, she accumulated 42 points with the Syracuse Orange women's ice hockey program during the 2011–12 and 2012–13 seasons and registered 60 points with the Quinnipiac Bobcats women's ice hockey program during the 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons. Brittany Ott
Brittany "The Otter" Ott (born June 12, 1990) is an American professional ice hockey player. , Ott plays for the New Hampshire region team in the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association. She previously played two seasons for the Boston Blades in the Canadian Women's Hockey League and four seasons with Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL). Megan Bozek (born March 27, 1991) is an American ice hockey player and member of the United States national team. She most recently played with the KRS Vanke Rays of the Zhenskaya Hockey League (ZhHL) during the 2020–21 season. Nana Fujimoto
is a professional Japanese ice hockey player for Vortex Sapporo and the Japanese national team. Fujimoto was previously a starting goaltender for the New York Riveters of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL). Meghan Duggan (born September 3, 1987) is an American former ice hockey forward and director of player development for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League. Jordan Brickner Gragnano (born October 3, 1990) is an American ice hockey player.
