1PW World Heavyweight Championship
The One Pro Wrestling (1PW) World Heavyweight Championship was a professional wrestling championship in One Pro Wrestling. The title was established in 2006 and was the highest ranked championship in the company. Title reigns are determined by professional wrestling matches with different wrestlers, involved in pre-existing scripted feuds, plots and storylines. One Pro Wrestling (abbreviated as 1PW) is a British professional wrestling Professional wrestling promotion, promotion. 1PW was founded in 2005 by Steven Gauntley. Originally run by the now defunct retail chain 1 Up Games, the company's headquarters were located in Doncaster The promotion went into liquidation in 2007; however they would restart within the same year, until August 2013, when they announced their closure. In April 2022, the promotion announced its return, with its first event, A New Twist of Fate, taking place on 1 October at the Doncaster Dome. The event was shown on FITE TV. Championships Relaunch On 11 April 2022, 1PW announced its relaunch, with its first event (A New Twist Of Fate) taking place on 1 October 2022. Heel (professional Wrestling)
In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a ''rudo'' in '' lucha libre'') is a wrestler who portrays a villain, "bad guy", or "rulebreaker", and acts as an antagonist to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Not everything a heel wrestler does must be villainous: heels need only to be booed or jeered by the audience to be effective characters, although most truly successful heels embrace other aspects of their devious personalities, such as cheating to win or using foreign objects. "The role of a heel is to get 'heat,' which means spurring the crowd to obstreperous hatred, and generally involves cheating and pretty much any other manner of socially unacceptable behavior that will get the job done." Queensferry ( cy, Fferi Buddug / Fferi Isaf) is a town, community and electoral ward in Flintshire, Wales, lying on the River Dee near the border. The community includes the village of Sandycroft. In professional wrestling, a face (babyface) is a heroic, "good guy" or "fan favorite" wrestler, booked (scripted) by the promotion with the aim of being cheered by fans, and acts as a protagonist to the heels, who are the villainous antagonist or "bad guy" characters. Traditionally, they wrestle within the rules and avoid cheating (in contrast to the villains who use illegal moves and call in additional wrestlers to do their work for them) while behaving positively towards the referee and the audience.
