Imperial Garden Theater
The , often referred to simply as the Teigeki (帝劇), and previously the Imperial Garden Theater, is a Japanese theater located in Marunouchi, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan operated by Toho. Tsugaru Kaikyō Fuyugeshiki
"Tsugaru Kaikyō Fuyugeshiki" (津軽海峡・冬景色 Tsugaru Strait - Winter Scene) is the 15th single and signature song by Japanese singer Sayuri Ishikawa. The song is written by Yu Aku as lyricist and Takashi Miki ( 三木たかし) as composer and arranger. The song sold over 727,000 units. The single was released on 1 January 1977 by Nippon Columbia. Together with “ Amagi-goe”, the song is Ishikawa's most popular from her career. The hit of this song resulted in Ishikawa's first nomination for the Nippon Record Taisho Award (Japan Record Award 日本レコード大賞) in 1977 but she did not win the award. In the same year, she appeared as a contestant to the annual NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen for the first time in her career. is a Japanese singer and actress. She was part of a music trio in 1973, which included Momoe Yamaguchi and Masako Mori. Sakurada then became successful in a solo music career, with 18 top ten singles in the 1970s. Her acting career ran from 1973 to 1993. Shigeru Matsuzaki
, known professionally as and sometimes as Shigeru BROWN, is a Japanese singer and actor. He is most known in the West for his contributions to the Katamari Damacy soundtrack, performing the theme songs of ''Nerima Daikon Brothers'' and acting as its lead character, and playing the title character in the film version of ''Space Adventure Cobra''. Hachiro Kasuga
, born Minoru Watabe, was a Japanese enka singer. He has been dubbed "the first enka singer". Having seen Ichiro Fujiyama on stage, he attempted to become a popular singer. After he graduated from the Toyo Music School, he joined the Imperial Japanese Army in 1944, and returned from Taiwan in 1945. He joined Shinjuku Moulin Rouge in 1947 and then King Records in 1949. In 1952, Kasuga made his debut with the song , which at first got into the news in Nagoya. His popularity soon became widespread. His 1954 song became more successful throughout Japan. Frank Nagai (フランク 永井; March 18, 1932 – October 27, 2008) was a Japanese singer. Known for his attractive baritone voice. His real name was Kiyoto Nagai (永井 清人 ''Nagai Kiyoto''). Life Frank Nagai was born in Matsuyama, Miyagi, Japan. He had his major debut in 1954 when he was discovered by composer Tadashi Yoshida (吉田 正).
