1999 UNCAF Interclub Cup
The 1999 UNCAF Interclub Cup was the 17th edition of the Central American Club Championship, and the first under the name ''UNCAF Interclub Cup''. The tournament was organized by UNCAF, the football regional body in Central America. Honduran club Olimpia defeated Costa Rican sides Alajuelense and Saprissa (defending champions) and Guatemalan Comunicaciones in the final round to win their second tournament in team's history. The first three ranked earned the right to play at the 1999 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. Teams For the first time in competition history, Belizean and Nicaraguan clubs entered the tournament. Club Deportivo Olimpia
Club Deportivo Olimpia is a professional Honduran football club based in Tegucigalpa, Francisco Morazán. The club is the nation's most successful team both in the domestic league and in international club competitions. History Olimpia was founded as a baseball club on June 12, 1912, by Héctor Pineda Ugarte, Carlos Bram, Arturo Bram, Enrique Buik, Santiago Buik, Miguel Sanchez, Samuel Inestrosa Gómez, and Ramón Field. In 1917, it also became a football team. C.D. Olimpia is the most successful football team in Honduras, having won 31 domestic league titles since it was founded in 1912, the latest being the 2019–20 Apertura & Clausura season. An aurora (plural: auroras or aurorae), also commonly known as the polar lights, is a natural light display in Earth's sky, predominantly seen in high-latitude regions (around the Arctic and Antarctic). Auroras display dynamic patterns of brilliant lights that appear as curtains, rays, spirals, or dynamic flickers covering the entire sky. Auroras are the result of disturbances in the magnetosphere caused by the solar wind. Major disturbances result from enhancements in the speed of the solar wind from coronal holes and coronal mass ejections. These disturbances alter the trajectories of charged particles in the magnetospheric plasma. Salvadoran Football Federation
The Salvadoran Football Federation ( es, Federación Salvadoreña de Fútbol or ) is the official governing football organization in El Salvador and is in charge of the El Salvador national football team, and El Salvador national beach soccer team The federation is also in charge of the three tiers of domestic club competition, including the top-flight Primera División de Fútbol Profesional. In May 2010, FIFA briefly suspended teams and associated members from international competition on the grounds that the Salvadoran government had not acknowledged the authority of the Normalisation Committee set up to represent FESFUT.
