The 1999 Montreal Expos season was the 31st season in franchise history. Offseason Future Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams was taken by the Montreal Expos in the 1998 Rule 5 draft. CKAC is a French-language radio station located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Owned by Cogeco, the station operates as a commercial traffic information service branded as ''Radio Circulation 730''. Its studios are located at Place Bonaventure in Downtown Montreal, and its transmitter is located in Saint-Joseph-du-Lac. CKAC was officially launched on October 2, 1922, under the ownership of the local newspaper '' La Presse'', as the first ever Francophone radio station in North America. Vladimir Alvino Guerrero Sr. (born February 9, 1975), nicknamed "Vlad the Impaler", is a Dominican former professional baseball player who spent 16 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a right fielder and designated hitter. He played for the Montreal Expos (–), Anaheim Angels / Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (–), Texas Rangers (), and Baltimore Orioles (). A nine-time All-Star, Guerrero was widely recognized for his impressive offensive production — regularly hitting for power and average — as well as his defensive range and strong throwing arm. Brad Fullmer
Bradley Ryan Fullmer (born January 17, 1975) is a former Major League Baseball first baseman and designated hitter. In an eight-year career, he played for the Montreal Expos (1997–1999), Toronto Blue Jays (2000–2001), Anaheim Angels (2002–2003), and the Texas Rangers (2004). Career Fullmer played baseball at Montclair College Preparatory School in Van Nuys, California where he hit .568 with 15 home runs as a senior. Fullmer committed to play college baseball at Stanford but was lured away from his commitment after the Montreal Expos selected him in the second round of the 1993 Major League Baseball Draft and offered him a package worth $520,000. Fullmer went to high school with another future Major League player, Russ Ortiz, whom he played against in the 2002 World Series. Orlando Cabrera
Orlando Luis Cabrera Ramírez, nicknamed "O-Cab" and "The OC", (born November 2, 1974) is a Colombian-American former baseball infielder. He won a World Series championship in 2004 with the Boston Red Sox. He also played for the Montreal Expos, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, Minnesota Twins, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians and San Francisco Giants. Cabrera is the younger brother of former major leaguer Jolbert Cabrera. Cabrera won the Gold Glove Award in 2001 and in 2007. He announced his retirement before the 2012 season. Darrell Shane Andrews (born August 28, 1971) is a former third baseman in Major League Baseball. He graduated from Carlsbad New Mexico High School in 1990. Andrews began his minor-league career in 1990 with the Gulf Coast Expos. In 1992, he led he South Atlantic League with 25 home runs and 107 walks. Roger Dean Stadium
Roger Dean Stadium (officially known as Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium) is a baseball stadium located in the Abacoa community of the town of Jupiter, Florida. Ricky Williams
Errick Miron (born Errick Lynne Williams Jr.; May 21, 1977) is an American former football running back who played 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) and one season in the Canadian Football League (CFL). After playing baseball and football at Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, California, Williams played college football for the Texas Longhorns, where he was a two-time unanimous All-American and won the 1998 Heisman Trophy.
