1999 MLS Supplemental Draft
The 1999 Major League Soccer Supplemental Draft took place in Fort Lauderdale on the afternoon of Sunday, February 7. The second and third rounds of the 1999 MLS College Draft had taken place earlier that morning. In this supplemental draft, a number of teams passed in the second and third rounds. Consequently in 2000, MLS merged the college and supplemental draft into the 2000 MLS SuperDraft. Major League Soccer
Major League Soccer (MLS) is a men's professional soccer league sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation, which represents the sport's highest level in the United States. The league comprises 29 teams—26 in the U.S. and 3 in Canada—since the 2023 season. The league is headquartered in Midtown Manhattan. Major League Soccer is the most recent in a series of men's premier professional national soccer leagues established in the United States and Canada. The predecessor of MLS was the North American Soccer League (NASL), which existed from 1968 until 1984. Steve Rammel
Steve Rammel (born April 20, 1968) is a retired American soccer player who played as a forward. Rammel spent five seasons in the U.S. and German lower divisions before playing two seasons in Major League Soccer. After retiring from playing in 1997, he served for many years as both an assistant and head coach for both college and professional teams. He was previously the executive director for the West Florida Flames Futbol Club in Brandon, Florida. High school and college Rammel attended West Deptford High School in New Jersey where he played for the school's boys soccer team. He helped lead the team to two New Jersey state championships, being named the 1986 Parade Magazine's National High School Player of the Year. Colorado Rapids
The Colorado Rapids are an American professional soccer club based in the Denver metropolitan area. The Rapids compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. El Paso Patriots was an American soccer team based in El Paso, Texas, United States. Founded in 1989, the team played in the Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Mid South Division of the Southern Conference. The team played its home games at the soccer-specific Patriot Stadium, where they played since 2005 until 2012, when they played their last season (2013) home schedule at the SAC. Kirk Wilson
Kirk Wilson is a retired American soccer player who played professionally in Major League Soccer and the USL A-League. Youth Wilson’s family moved from California to El Paso, Texas when he was a child. He graduated from Coronado High School where he was part of the 1996 Texas State High School soccer championship team. David "Dusty" Hudock (born September 4, 1972 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American former professional soccer player who played as a goalkeeper. Hudock began his career in the APSL, playing primarily for the Seattle Sounders, before moving to the Charleston Battery of the A-League and USL First Division. Career Youth and college Hudock grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and played youth soccer for CISCO Arsenal. The Miami Fusion was a professional soccer team based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They played in Major League Soccer (MLS) for four seasons, from 1998 to 2001.
