Poprad
Poprad (; hu, Poprád; german: Deutschendorf) is a city in northern Slovakia at the foot of the High Tatra Mountains, famous for its picturesque historic centre and as a holiday resort. It is the biggest town of the Spiš region and the tenth largest city in Slovakia, with a population of approximately 50,000. The Poprad-Tatry Airport is an international airport located just outside the city. Poprad is also the starting point of the Tatra Electric Railway (known in Slovak as ''Tatranská elektrická železnica''), a set of special narrow-gauge trains (trams) connecting the resorts in the High Tatras with each other and with Poprad. Werner Heel
Werner Heel (born 23 March 1982) is an Italian former World Cup alpine ski racer. Born in Meran, Heel grew up in St. Leonhard in Passeier and currently resides in Meran, where he works as a police officer. Heel began skiing at the age of four, and his main disciplines are downhill and super-G. In order to be competitive in super combined he also practices slalom. In 2004 he won the Italian championship in super-G at Caspoggio. His career has been slowed by several injuries. Heel has been in a relationship with fellow alpine skier Manuela Mölgg since 2009: as of 2018 the couple were engaged. Nikolay Vladimirovich Pankratov (russian: Николай Владимирович Панкратов; born December 23, 1982 in Sverdlovsk) is a Russian cross-country skier who competed between 1999 and 2013. He won two medals in the 4 × 10 km at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a silver in 2007 and a bronze in 2005, and finished 10th in the 15 km + 15 km double pursuit at the 2005 championships in Oberstdorf. Pankratov also finished eighth in the 4 × 10 km event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
