1998 Wimbledon Championships – Boys' Singles
Wesley Whitehouse was the defending champion, but turned 18 years old during the season and, therefore, was ineligible to compete in Juniors. Roger Federer defeated Irakli Labadze in the final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the boys' singles tennis title at the 1998 Wimbledon Championships. It was Federer's 4th juniors singles title. Edgardo Massa
Edgardo Massa (born 22 March 1981 in Formosa, Argentina) is a former tennis player from Argentina, who turned professional in 1998. Massa plays right-handed, and uses a single-handed backhand. Career Massa who is known by the nickname "Yayo", started playing tennis at the age of 5. He was part of the same generation that produced David Nalbandian and Guillermo Coria. Together with Nalbandian and Coria, Massa represented Argentina in the Junior Davis Cup in 1996 and 1997. Biography Kiernan, who is originally from the town of Consett near Newcastle, played collegiate tennis in the United States for Louisiana State University. Lazar Magdinčev (born 15 December 1980) is a Macedonian former professional tennis player. Born in Skopje, Magdinčev reached a career best ranking of 339 for singles and 267 for doubles while competing on the professional tour. He won an ATP Challenger doubles title in Brașov in 2006. Vasilis Mazarakis ( el, Βασίλης Μαζαράκης, link=no; born 9 February 1980) is a former professional tennis player from Greece. Career Mazarakis teamed up with Eleni Daniilidou to represent Greece in the 2002 Hopman Cup, but they lost the qualification play-off to Italy.
