1998 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship Qualification
The 1998 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification began in 1996. The final tournament was held in 1998 in Romania. The 46 national teams were divided into nine groups (eight groups of 5 + one group of 6). The records of the nine group winners were compared, and the eighth and ninth ranked teams played-off against each other for the eight quarter finals spot. One of the eight quarter-finalist were then chosen to host the remaining fixtures. The 1998 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, which spanned two years (1996–98), had 46 entrants. Away Goals Rule
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaker, tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals "Road (sports), away from home" wins. Carrow Road
Carrow Road is an association football stadium located in Norwich, Norfolk, England, and is the home of EFL Championship side Norwich City. The stadium is located toward the east of the city, near Norwich railway station and the River Wensum. Norwich City FC originally played at Newmarket Road before moving to The Nest. Pantelis Konstantinidis (Greek: Παντελής Κωνσταντινίδης; born 16 August 1975) is a Greek former footballer. He was born in Florina. Konstantinidis played as a left winger for most of his career, earning the nickname ''Svouras'' (''spinning top'') for his quick dribbling in his youth.
