1998 UEFA Cup Final
The 1998 UEFA Cup Final was a football match played at Parc des Princes in Paris on 6 May 1998 between two Italian sides, Lazio and Internazionale. Inter won the match 3–0. 1997–98 UEFA Cup
The 1997–98 UEFA Cup was won by Inter Milan, Internazionale in an all-Italian final against S.S. Lazio, Lazio. It was their third title in eight years in the competition. It was the first instance of the UEFA Cup final being a one-game contest at a neutral stadium, having previously being decided over two legs with each team having one home game. Diego Fuser
Diego Fuser (; born 11 November 1968) is an Italian former professional footballer, who played as a midfielder, mainly on the right wing, although he was also capable of playing in the centre. Giuseppe Favalli (; born 8 January 1972) is an Italian former professional footballer. A versatile, consistent, tenacious and experienced defender, Favalli was capable of playing as a centre back as well as on the left or right flank as a full back. Alessandro Nesta (; born 19 March 1976) is an Italian professional football manager and former player. Usually deployed as a centre-back, he is widely considered one of the best defenders of all time. Alessandro Grandoni (born 27 July 1977) is an Italian football coach and a former defender. He is the head coach of Serie D club Chieti. Luca Marchegiani (; born 22 February 1966) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
