Léon Van Bon
Léon Hendrik Jan van Bon (born 28 January 1972) is a retired road racing cyclist from the Netherlands, who won the silver medal in the men's points race at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. He won his first major race at the professionals in 1998, winning the HEW Cyclassics. In 2001 he claimed the overall-victory in the Ronde van Nederland. Van Bon retired in 2013. Michael Rich (cyclist)
Michael Rich (born 23 September 1969) is a former professional road bicycle racer, who won the gold medal for his native country in the men's team time trial (100 km) at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. His winning teammates were Christian Meyer, Bernd Dittert and Uwe Peschel. Rich is most famous for his individual time trial participations in the Grand Tours (Tour de France, Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España). He is the father of two children. Rich retired from racing in 2006. His profession was a mechanic. EuroEyes Cyclassics
The Hamburg Cyclassics (currently known as the Bemer Cyclassics for sponsorship purposes) is an annual one-day professional and amateur cycling race in and around Hamburg, Germany. Although the route varies, its distance is always around 250 km. The course's most significant difficulty is Waseberg hill in Blankenese, which is addressed three times in the race finale. Until 2016 it was Germany's only event on the UCI World Tour calendar, before the inclusion of Eschborn-Frankfurt – Rund um den Finanzplatz in 2017. The race is organized by IRONMAN Unlimited Events Germany GmbH, which also organizes the annual Velothon Berlin. An important part of the Cyclassics is the ''Jedermannrennen'' ("Everyman's race"), an amateur/cyclosportif event held on the same day and on the same roads as the professional race. Paul van Hyfte (born 19 January 1972 in Eeklo) is a Belgian former professional road bicycle racer. He is a former rider at the Danish professional cycling team, from 2002 to 2003. He left the team after 2003 and joined a Belgian team, Vlaanderen-T Interim for his final season in 2004. In the 2015 Tour of Flanders, van Hyfte was named as driving a Shimano neutral service vehicle which rear-ended the team car as it slowed to attend to Sylvain Chavanel. Jan Ullrich
Jan Ullrich (; born 2 December 1973) is a German former professional road bicycle racer. Ullrich won gold and silver medals in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He won the 1999 Vuelta a España and the HEW Cyclassics in front of a home crowd in Hamburg in 1997. He had podium finishes in the hilly classic Clásica de San Sebastián. His victorious ride in the 1997 Tour de France led to a bicycle boom in Germany. He retired in February 2007. In 2006, Ullrich was barred from the Tour de France amid speculation of having doped. In February 2012, Ullrich was found guilty of a doping offence by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. He was retroactively banned from 22 August 2011, and all results gained since May 2005 were removed from his Palmarès. He admitted to blood doping in 2013.
