1998 European Men's Handball Championship
The 1998 European Men's Handball Championship was the third edition of the tournament and held in Italy from 29 May to 7 June 1998, in the cities of Meran and Bolzano. Ninth Place Game
In music, a ninth is a compound interval consisting of an octave plus a second. Like the second, the interval of a ninth is classified as a dissonance in common practice tonality. Since a ninth is an octave larger than a second, its sonority level is considered less dense. Dragan Škrbić (; born 29 September 1968) is a Serbian former handball player. He was named the 2000 IHF World Player of the Year. Nenad Peruničić
Nenad Peruničić (; born 1 May 1971) is a Serbian handball coach and former player. Club career Born in Pljevlja, Peruničić made his senior debut with Jugović in the Yugoslav Championship, before moving to Crvena zvezda in 1990. He spent three seasons with the Belgrade club, most notably losing the championship final to Partizan in 1993. That year, Peruničić was transferred to PSG-Asnières. He would finish the 1993–94 season as the second-highest scorer in the French league. In 1994, Peruničić moved to Spain and signed with Elgorriaga Bidasoa. Lars Stefan Lövgren (born 21 December 1970) is a Swedish former handball player. He was born in Gothenburg. Making his debut in the national team in 1993, he played a total of 268 games and scored 1138 goals. During his adult career he played for Redbergslids IK (in Gothenburg), and German sides TV Niederwürzbach and Champions League- and Bundesliga-winning team THW Kiel. He was the captain of the national team during the period 1996–2006 and for THW Kiel 2001–2009. Martin Schwalb (born 4 May 1963) is a former West German handball player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics and in the 1996 Summer Olympics. He currently coaches Rhein-Neckar Löwen. Stefan Kretzschmar
Stefan Kretzschmar (; born 17 February 1973, in Leipzig) is a retired professional German handball player. The son of Peter Kretzschmar, a legendary handball player and coach in the former GDR (East Germany) and Waltraud Kretzschmar, a former handball player for the East German team and winner of Olympic team medals in silver (1976) and bronze (1980), he was a three-time Olympic athlete and winner of the Olympic silver medal with the German team in 2004.
