1998 AFF Championship
The 1998 AFF Championship, officially known as the 1998 Tiger Cup, was the second edition of the AFF Championship. It was held in Vietnam from 26 August to 5 September 1998. Thailand had been the defending champions, but lost to Vietnam in the semi-finals. Singapore won the tournament by a 1–0 victory against Vietnam in the finals to take their first title. Myo Hlaing Win ( my, မျိုးလှိုင်ဝင်း) is an Myanmar international footballer who plays as a forward He was the top goalscorer at the 1998 Tiger Cup. He was a prolific goalscorer, and despite being more of an individualistic attacker, he was also capable of providing assists for his teammates, due to his vision, passing and crossing ability. Alfredo Fernando Razón "Freddy" Gonzalez (born 1 October 1978 in Parañaque) is a Filipino former football player. He was a member of the Philippines national football team. Early years Gonzalez's mother, Terry Razón, enrolled him to Tomas Lozano's Makati Football School (MFS) at age six. He later became the high school football star of Colegio de San Agustin. Gonzalez earned himself a soccer scholarship to the University of Portland, then considered one of the most professionally run (football wise) and well coached university teams in the US.
