"1998" is an instrumental music track by British trance act Binary Finary originally released in the year 1998. The track was subsequently remixed numerous times under the title of the year the remix was produced (i.e. "1999", "2000", etc.) On the UK singles chart, "1998" peaked at #24 whereas "1999" peaked at #11. 12 years after its original release, in 2010 Armada Music published remixes by Vegas Baby!, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Dabruck & Klein, TyDi & Dennis Sheperd, Vadim Soloviev, Kaimo K, and a 2010 mix. In 2012 the song was covered by Peace under the title "1998 (Delicious)" on their debut EP, '' EP Delicious''. This version adds lyrics to the song. On 9 September 2013 it was released through Armada Music a 15th anniversary package containing remixes by Jordan Suckley, Kissy Sell Out, Daniel Wanrooy, James Dymond, Tonny Nesse and an 'End of the World' rework. Binary Finary
Binary Finary are a British trance act, originally comprising Matt Laws, Ricky Grant and Stuart Matheson. They are best known for the dance hit single "1998", especially for the Paul van Dyk and Gouryella remixes, which charted in many countries. The song was remixed numerous times under the title of the year the remix was produced ("1999" and "2000" etc.), many of which were popular. In the UK, "1998" reached a peak position of No. 24 in the UK Singles Chart whereas "1999" reached No. 11. It was covered by the indie group Peace in the song, " 1998 (Delicious)". On 1 May 2006, they released a collection of 16 tracks written over their eight-year sabbatical under the general title, ''The Lost Tracks''. This album is available only for download. Gouryella
Gouryella is a solo trance music, trance project of Dutch musician Ferry Corsten. Gouryella was originally a Netherlands, Dutch production team, comprising Corsten and Tiësto, who later left. The word itself means "heaven" in an Australian aboriginal language. In 2015, his track "Anahera" was chosen as "Tune of the Year" on Armin van Buuren's show A State of Trance, ''A State of Trance''. History 1998–2003 In 1998, Dutch musicians Ferry Corsten and Tiësto collaborated to create Gouryella. In time there were twenty separate album releases of the first four Gouryella tracks from nine different record labels. One of those albums was ''In Search of Sunrise''. TyDi (; born Tyson Illingworth, 31 May 1987) is an Australian songwriter, record producer and DJ specializing in electronic dance music. Originally from Queensland, TyDi was signed by Armin van Buuren's Armada label at 17 and was ranked at No. 1 of ''Junkee's'' Australian Top 50 DJs in 2008 and 2009. Twoloud
Twoloud, formerly stylized as twoloud, now stylized as TWOLOUD, is the name of a German DJ musical project consisting of members Manuel Reuter (also known as Manian), Alexander Thomas (Alex Castle) along with Dennis Nicholls (aka D-Style). The project was founded in 2013 and are active mainly in the genres of progressive house and big room house. Although the project's anonymity has been revealed in mid-2014, the musicians were asking to be judged only by their music, not faces. The style of TWOLOUD is unique, with the lead sound of the song "Greatest DJ", for example, being strongly linked to that of duo Showtek. Similar comparisons were given to the songs "Drop It Like This", which contains influences by Tujamo, and "I'm Alive" resembling the sound of Canadian duo DVBBS. Ronny Schneider (, born on 18 March 1975), better known by his stage names Ronski Speed and Sun Decade is a German electronic dance producer and DJ. Matthias Paul (; born 16 December 1971), known professionally as Paul van Dyk () is a German DJ, record producer and musician.
