Arthur Rudolph
Arthur Louis Hugo Rudolph (November 9, 1906 – January 1, 1996) was a German rocket engineer who was a leader of the effort to develop the V-2 rocket for Nazi Germany. After World War II, the United States Government's Office of Strategic Services (OSS) brought him to the U.S. as part of the clandestine Operation Paperclip, where he became one of the main developers of the U.S. space program. He worked within the U.S. Army and NASA, where he managed the development of several systems, including the Pershing missile and the Saturn V Moon rocket. In 1984, the U.S. Government investigated him for war crimes, and he agreed to renounce his United States citizenship and leave the U.S. in return for not being prosecuted. Early life Rudolph was born in Stepfershausen, Meiningen, Germany in 1906. His family were farmers, with a long tradition in the area. His father Gustav died in 1915 while serving in World War I. Gina Lückenkemper
Gina Lückenkemper (born 21 November 1996) is a German track and field athlete who competes in the sprints. She won gold medals in the 100 metres and for the 4 × 100 m relay at the 2022 European Athletics Championships. As a 18-year-old Lückenkemper took gold in the 200 metres at the 2015 European Junior Championships. She has competed at the World Athletics Championships in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022 and at the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She won several German national titles. At the 2017 World Championships in London, Lückenkemper broke for the first time the 11-second barrier in the heats of the 100 m event with her time of 10.95 seconds, becoming the first German female sprinter to achieve the feat since Katrin Krabbe in 1991. Gianluca Gaudino (, ; born 11 November 1996) is a German professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Swiss Super League club Lausanne-Sport. Club career Bayern Munich Gaudino, is a youth product of the Bayern Munich Academy. He was promoted to the first team for the 2014–15 season after impressing Pep Guardiola.
