1996 SANFL Grand Final
The 1996 South Australian National Football League (SANFL) Grand Final saw the Port Adelaide Magpies defeat the Central District Bulldogs by 36 points. The match was played on Sunday 6 October 1996 at AAMI Stadium, Football Park in front of a crowd of 46,120. Tim Ginever
Timothy Ginever (born 13 April 1966) is a former Australian rules footballer in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), playing for Port Adelaide. Darryl Borlase
Darryl Borlase is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Port Adelaide Football Club. Football Borlase was recruited by Port Adelaide from the Ceduna Football Club. He would debut for Port Adelaide in 1985 playing 5 games in his first season. Borlase would go on to have a successful career with Port Adelaide winning four South Australian National Football League (SANFL) premierships during his time at the club. However, he was also unfortunate to miss the 1988, 1989, 1999 and 1995 SANFL Grand Finals due to injury. Stephen Carter (born 5 February 1974) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Port Adelaide in the Australian Football League (AFL). Brian Leys (born 7 February 1968) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Richmond in the Australian Football League (AFL) and Port Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Bryan Beinke
Bryan Beinke (born 5 August 1975) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. Football career Port Adelaide Playing primarily as a forward, Beinke initially played with South Australian National Football League (SANFL) club Port Adelaide before being drafted by Geelong Football Club with the 108th pick at the 1992 AFL Draft. Beinke spent part of the 1993 AFL season with Geelong but did not play a senior game. Roger Delaney (born 27 February 1966) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Fitzroy in the Australian Football League (AFL) in 1990.
