1995–96 Croatian Football Cup
The 1995–96 Croatian Football Cup was the fifth edition of Croatia's football knockout competition. Hajduk Split were the defending champions, and the cup was won by Croatia Zagreb. HNK Hajduk Split
Hrvatski nogometni klub Hajduk Split, commonly referred to as Hajduk Split () or simply Hajduk, is a Croatian professional football club based in Split, that competes in the Croatian First League, the top tier in Croatian football. Since 1979, the club's home ground has been the 34,198-seater Stadion Poljud. The team's traditional home colours are white shirts with blue shorts and blue socks. The idea to form a football club was started by group of Split students who were studying in Prague. After observing a game between Slavia and Sparta Prague, the group gathered at the U Fleků tavern and talked of creating a football club at home. When they returned to Split, they put their plan in motion and Hajduk was founded on 13 February 1911. Between the early 1920s and 1940, Hajduk regularly participated in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia national championship. NK Marsonia
NK Marsonia is a Croatian football club based in the city of Slavonski Brod. They currently play in the third division Treća HNL. NK Marsonia was founded in 1909. From 1945 to 1962 the club was called ''NK Radnički Brod'', and then ''BSK'' from 1962 to 1992 before the club's original name was restored. NK Marsonia last played in the top flight 1.HNL in 2004, finishing last and suffering relegation. On August 1, 2011 NK Marsonia merged with MV Croatia to form NK Marsonia 1909 which will compete in Croatian second division. NK Marsonia will continue functioning as the new club's second team. NK Graničar Županja
NK Graničar is a Croatian football club, based in the town of Županja in Slavonia. History Nogometni Klub Graničar was founded in 1920 in Županja as ''HNK Graničar'', which is one of the most important sports symbols of today Županja. Županja is known as the first place where football was played within the Kingdom of Croatia and Slavonia. Namely, the economic interests and wealth of Slavonia attracted factory workers from England in Županja in 1880, who brought with them the first football. They conceived in Županja playing football, and in the absence of a sufficient number of players in the "ball" included the local population, mainly employees, but also workers on the felling and delivery of oak logs to the tanning factory in Županja.
