The 1995–1996 campaign was the 90th season in Atlético Madrid's history and their 60th season in La Liga, the top division of Spanish football. Roberto Solozábal Villanueva (born 15 September 1969) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a central defender. He appeared in 273 La Liga games over 11 seasons, representing in the competition Atlético Madrid and Betis. Club career Atlético Madrid A product of local Atlético Madrid's youth system, Madrid-born Solozábal represented the first team from 1989 to 1997, his debut being on 2 September in a 3–1 away win against Valencia CF (90 minutes played). Kiko (footballer, Born 1972)
Francisco Miguel Narváez Machón (born 26 April 1972), known as Kiko, is a Spanish former professional footballer who spent most of his career with Atlético Madrid. A centre forward with tremendous technical ability and field vision, he possessed nonetheless a poor aerial game despite being almost 190 cm tall. In ten La Liga seasons (also played one year with his main club in Segunda División), he amassed totals of 271 games and 60 goals. Roberto Luis Fresnedoso Prieto (born 15 January 1973), known simply as Roberto, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Toledo, Castilla–La Mancha, Roberto moved to Catalonia in his teens. He started his football career in the area, first with Girona FC then moving to RCD Español, spending his first years with its farm team CE L'Hospitalet. He made his first appearance with the main squad in the 1992–93 season, in an eventual La Liga relegation. José De La Sagra
José Antonio de la Sagra Fermín (born 1 April 1976), sometimes known simply as Pepe de la Sagra or Dela, is a Spanish football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is the current second manager of Lleida Esportiu. Playing career As a player, he is a product of the Atlético Madrid school. Quinton Fortune (born 21 May 1977) is a South African professional football coach and former player, who played as both a midfielder and a defender. His career began in Europe and after stints with Tottenham Hotspur, Mallorca and Atlético Madrid among others he settled in with Manchester United in 1999 and spent seven years there. He played internationally for South Africa from 1996 to 2005, earning 46 caps, and was part of the South Africa squad for the 1998 and 2002 FIFA World Cups. Ricardo López Felipe (born 30 December 1971), known simply as Ricardo, is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, currently a manager. Fernando Edgardo Correa Ayala (born 6 January 1974) is a Uruguayan retired footballer who played as a striker, and is a current manager. Having represented in his country River Plate and Peñarol, he had a lengthy spell in Spain with Atlético Madrid. He also competed professionally in China. Pirri (footballer, Born 1970)
Francisco Javier Mori Cuesta (born 10 November 1970), known as Pirri, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a midfielder. He was successful during the 1990s, playing for six years in La Liga. Most notably, he played a part in Atlético Madrid's double winning season in 1995–96. Career Pirri was born in Cangas de Onís in the autonomous community of Asturias, and began his career with nearby coastal club Ribadesella. His form for Ribadesella earned him a move to one of Asturias's largest clubs, Real Oviedo, in 1991. Milinko Pantić
Milinko Pantić (Serbian Cyrillic: Милинко Пантић, born 5 September 1966) is a Serbian retired footballer and current manager. Playing career Pantić spent the first six seasons of his professional career with FK Partizan between 1985 and 1991. He then moved on to Greek Alpha Ethniki league where he played until 1995 for Athens side Panionios. At almost 29 years of age, he was brought to Atlético Madrid by their new coach Radomir Antić who knew Pantić well from his Partizan days. Juan Vizcaíno
Juan Vizcaíno Morcillo (born 6 August 1966) is a Spanish retired footballer who played mainly as a defensive midfielder. Regarded and praised as an accomplished role player, his career was intimately connected with Atlético Madrid. Over 13 seasons he amassed La Liga totals of 396 matches and 33 goals, also representing in the competition Zaragoza and Valladolid.
