Stefano Colagè (born 8 July 1962) is an Italian former professional road cyclist. He competed in eight editions of the Giro d'Italia, four editions of the Tour de France and one of the Vuelta a España. He also competed in the individual road race event at the 1984 Summer Olympics. His most notable victories were the 1995 Tirreno–Adriatico and the 1995 Gran Premio di Lugano. Maurizio Fondriest (born 15 January 1965) is a retired Italy, Italian professional road racing cyclist. Career Born in Cles, Trentino, Fondriest turned professional in 1987 with the Ecoflam team. He subsequently rode for Alfa Lum cycling team, Alfa-Lum in 1988, winning the UCI Road World Championships – Men's road race, World Cycling Championships along with stages in the Tour de Suisse and Tirreno–Adriatico. Dimitri Konyshev
Dimitri Konyshev (Russian Дмитрий Борисович Конышев; born 18 February 1966 in Gorky) is a Russian former road bicycle racer. During the 1989 World Championship he can be seen in a rather famous photo of cycling history showing the agony of defeat in 2nd place behind Greg Lemond's display of the intensity of victory. In 1990 Konyshev would become the first ever rider from the Soviet Union to win a stage in the Tour de France. While the Soviet's would not allow their riders to join the professional teams until a short while before the end of the Cold War in the 1991 Tour de France, Soviet riders had remarkable success winning 5 stages. One by Viatcheslav Ekimov, two by Djamolidine Abdoujaparov who also won the Green Jersey and two stage wins by Konyshev. Tirreno–Adriatico, nicknamed the "Race of the Two Seas", is an elite road cycling stage race in Italy, run between the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic coasts. Traditionally held in the early part of the season, it is considered to be an important preparation for the Giro d'Italia.
