The 1995 Winnipeg municipal election was held on October 25, 1995 to elect a mayor, councillors and school trustees in the city of Winnipeg. Susan Thompson defeated Peter Kaufmann and Terry Duguid in the mayoral contest. Results Mayor Councillors *Ed Mullis worked as a tax specialist in Montreal before leaving to work in Winnipeg's Union Gospel Mission in 1987. Waskada, Manitoba
Waskada is an unincorporated urban community in the Municipality of Brenda – Waskada within the Canadian province of Manitoba that held village status prior to January 1, 2015. It is located in the southwest corner of the province, close to the United States and Saskatchewan borders. It was settled as early as 1883 and incorporated as a village in 1948. Waskada has a population of 183, and covers a land area of 0.77 km. Though traditionally a farming community, a recent oil boom has also brought economic activity to the area. Neepawa is a town in Manitoba, Canada located on the Yellowhead Highway at the intersection with Highway 5. its population was 5,685. Neepawa was incorporated as a town in 1883.
