The 1995 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup, FIVB Women's World Cup was held from 3 to 17 November 1995 in Japan. Mireya Luis
Alejandrina Mireya Luis Hernández, often referred to as Mireya (born August 25, 1967 in Camagüey) is a retired Cuban volleyball player. Life At the age of 10 she started playing volleyball. At 16, Mireya joined the Cuban national team for the 1983 Pan-American Games, in which Cuba took first place. She would play with them again in the 1987 Games, and Cuba would again win the tournament. After a brief hiatus due to injury, she resumed play in 1990 at the World Championship in Japan where the Cuban team finished fourth. In 1991 she led the Cuban team to win its first ever World Cup in Mexico . Mireya won her first Olympic gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics, 1992 Games in Barcelona with team mate Regla Bell. She would win a second gold in 1996 Olympic Games, Atlanta in 1996, again playing with the Cuban national team. Raisa O'Farrill
Raisa O'Farrill Bolanos (born 17 April 1972) was a Cuban female volleyball player. She was part of the Cuba women's national volleyball team winning the gold medal at both the 1992 Summer Olympics and 1996 Summer Olympics. Nataša Osmokrović, born 27 May 1976 in Zagreb, Yugoslavia) is an international Croatian volleyball player who played with Croatia at the 2000 Summer Olympics. Personal life Natasa has a son named Markus and currently lives in Moscow. Mirka Francia Vasconcelos (born 14 February 1975, in Villa Clara) is a Cuban-Italian volleyball player who has won two Olympic gold medals with the Cuba women's national volleyball team. Magalys Carvajal Rivera (born December 18, 1968) is a Cuban Volleyball Player, World champion and Olympic champion. She led Cuba to Olympic Gold Medals in the 1992 Barcelona and 1996 Atlanta Games.
