1995 Division 1 (Senegal)
The 1995 Division 1 season was the 30th of the competition of the first-tier football in Senegal. The tournament was organized by the Senegalese Football Federation. The season began in January and finished on 6 August 1995. ASC Diaraf won the eight title and participated in the 1996 African Cup of Champions Clubs the following year. AS Douanes participated in the 1996 CAF Cup, Entente Sotrac Ouakam in the 1996 CAF Winners' Cup and ASEC Ndiambour in the 1996 West African Cup. ASEC Ndiambour was the defending team of the title. A total of 18 clubs participated in the competition (9 in each of the two groups, Group A and B), it would be the first time the group system would be used along with the playoff system with two matches in the semis and one in the final. Senegal Premier League is the top division of the Senegal Football Association, it was founded in 1966. The league also hosts a domestic cup, the Coupe de la Ligue. SONACOS
ASC SUNEOR is a Senegalese football club based in Diourbel, which is part of the Senegal Second League or Ligue 2 (second tier) since mid 2016 after being relegated as they were 13th in Ligue 1 last season. ASC Linguère is a Senegalese football club based in Saint-Louis. It plays in the second division in Senegalese football. Its home stadium is Stade de Linguère. Linguère is joint eighth in the number of major honours won in Senegal (five) with ASC Port Autonome of Dakar, Casa Sports of Ziguinchor and Djambars FC. Union Sportive Ouakam (estimate Wolof form: ''Wakaam''), abbreviation: USO is a Senegalese football (soccer), football club based in Dakar in the subdivision of Ouakam in the west of the city close to Cap-Vert, Cap Vert.
