The 1995 Jeep Eagle Aloha Bowl was a college football bowl game, played as part of the 1995–96 bowl game schedule of the 1995 NCAA Division I-A football season. It was the 11th Aloha Bowl. It was played on December 25, 1995, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. Aloha Stadium
Aloha Stadium is a closed multi-purpose stadium located in Halawa, Hawaii, a western suburb of Honolulu (though with a Honolulu address). Kansas Jayhawks Football Bowl Games

The 1995–96 NCAA football bowl games concluded the 1995 NCAA Division I-A football season. In the first year of the Bowl Alliance era, the Alliance achieved its goal of matching the two top-ranked teams in the country in the Fiesta Bowl, designated as the Bowl Alliance national championship game for the 1995 season. Abdul-Karim al-Jabbar (born Sharmon Shah; June 28, 1974), known previously as Karim Abdul-Jabbar, is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). Cade Brem McNown (born January 12, 1977) is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons, most notably with the Chicago Bears. He played college football at UCLA, where he won the Johnny Unitas Award as a senior, and was selected by the Bears in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft. The Big Eight Conference was a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)-affiliated Division I-A college athletic association that sponsored football. It was formed in January 1907 as the Missouri Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MVIAA) by its charter member schools: the University of Kansas, University of Missouri, University of Nebraska, and Washington University in St. Louis. 1995 Kansas Jayhawks Football Team
The 1995 Kansas Jayhawks football team represented the University of Kansas as a member of the Big Eight Conference during the 1995 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by eighth-year head coach Glen Mason, the Jayhawks compiled an overall record of 10–2 with a mark of 5–2 in conference play, placing in a three-way tie for second in the Big 8. Kansas was invited to the Aloha Bowl, where they beat UCLA. The team played home games at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, Kansas. 1996 was Jayhawks' final season in the Big 8, which dissolved at the end of the 1995–96 academic year.
