1994 Superbike World Championship Season
The 1994 Superbike World Championship was the seventh FIM Superbike World Championship season. The season started on 2 May at Donington and finished on 30 October at Phillip Island after 11 rounds. Carl Fogarty won the riders' championship with 10 victories and Ducati won the manufacturers' championship. The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM; en, International Motorcycling Federation) is the global governing/sanctioning body of motorcycle racing. It represents 116 national motorcycle federations that are divided into six regional continental unions. There are seven motorcycle-racing disciplines that FIM covers, encompassing 82 world championships as well as hundreds of secondary championships: enduro, trial, circuit racing, motocross and supermoto, cross-country, e-bike, and track racing. Autodromo Internazionale Del Mugello
Mugello Circuit () is a race track in Scarperia e San Piero, Florence, Tuscany, Italy. The circuit length is . It has 15 turns and a long straight. The circuit stadium stands have a capacity of 50,000. Grand Prix motorcycle racing host an annual event at the circuit (for MotoGP and smaller classes). In 2007 and 2008 the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters held an annual event. The track is owned by Scuderia Ferrari, which uses it for Formula One testing. The TT Circuit Assen is a motorsport race track built in 1955 and located in Assen, Netherlands. Yasutomo Nagai
(October 29, 1965 – September 12, 1995) was a motorcycle road racer, born in Koshigaya, Japan. Career Nagai raced in Japan's All-Japan Road Racing Championship for many years, spending seven of them with Yamaha Motor Company. He was also a member of the 1994 Bol d'Or winning Yamaha France team, with Dominique and Christian Sarron. Nagai took two pole positions in the Superbike World Championship. He was the first Japanese racer to take a Championship pole outside Japan (in Austria in ). He achieved four podium finishes. Accident and death Nagai died two days after crashing at Assen, Netherlands during the 1995 Superbike World Championship race. James Whitham
James Michael "Jamie" Whitham (born 6 September 1966), is an English former professional motorcycle road racer. He raced in most major British and international championships, winning the British championship twice. The readers of Motorcycle News voted him 'Man of the Year' in both 1991 and 1996. After retiring from racing he works as a television motorcycle race commentator, runs road-race tuition track days, and operates a small private airstrip near Huddersfield. Sentul International Circuit
Sentul International Circuit is a 50,000-capacity permanent motor racing circuit located at Sentul City, Babakan Madang, Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia, near the toll gate of Jakarta towards Bogor city and areas at the foot of Jonggol Mountains Its pit facilities have easy access to the Jagorawi Toll Road.
