The 1994 FIA Asia-Pacific Touring Car Championship was a motorsport championship for Super Touring racing cars. This was the second running of the championship and the champion was Joachim Winkelhock who drove for Schnitzer Motorsport. Schedule The original schedule contained six rounds, but due to logistical and financial problems, only three rounds, Japan, Macau and New Zealand were run. The Japanese round was also part of that year's JTCC schedule. BMW E36
The third generation of the BMW 3 Series range of compact executive cars is designated under the model code E36, and was produced by the German automaker BMW from 1990 to 2000. The initial models were of the four-door sedan body style, followed by the coupe, convertible, wagon ("Touring"), hatchback ("Compact"), and the rare four-door convertible Baur TC4 in later years. The E36 was the first 3 Series to be offered in a hatchback body style. It was also the first 3 Series to be available with a six-speed manual transmission (in the 1996 M3), a five-speed automatic transmission, and a four-cylinder diesel engine. The multi-link rear suspension was also a significant upgrade as compared to the previous generations of the 3 Series. Nuno Amorim, better known as Ni Amorim, is a racecar driver born in Porto, Portugal on March 1, 1962. National career Amorim started competing in circuit racing and rallying in 1982, but in the mid-1980s he was almost exclusively a touring car racing driver, becoming a mainstay in various one-make cups and the Portuguese Touring Car Championship. Colin John Bond (born 24 February 1942) is a retired Australian racing driver. Bond reached the highest levels in Australian motorsport in 1969 when he was recruited by Harry Firth to the newly formed Holden Dealer Team. He quickly found success, winning the 1969 Hardie-Ferodo 500 mile race (now the Bathurst 1000) at Bathurst, New South Wales in a Holden Monaro. Bond was a particularly versatile driver, also finding success in the Australian Rally Championship, winning the title in 1971, 1972 and 1974 driving a Holden Torana. Racing career Formula cars Giroix began his career in French Formula Renault in 1984, finishing 4th. In 1985 he drove in the French Formula Three Championship and finished 12th. In 1986 he only participated in a handful of Formula 3 races in the British and German series. Nissan Sunny
