The 1993–94 Czech 1.liga season was the first season of the Czech 1.liga, the second level of ice hockey in the Czech Republic. Fourteen teams participated in the league, and HC Zbrojovka Vsetín and HC Slavia Praha were promoted to the Czech Extraliga. History The club finished its almost 20-year-long run in the 1st Czech League in the 2013–14 season. Beroun was relegated to the Czech 2. liga at the end of that season. In 2014–2020, the team was inactive per orders from the Czech National Ice Hockey Federation, who have barred Beroun from entering the 2014-15 installment of the Czech 2. liga due to debt. IHC Písek
IHC Králové Písek is an ice hockey team in Písek, Czech Republic. They play in the Second Ice Hockey League, in the Czech Republic (third -level ice hockey league). History IHC Písek was established in 1990. by merging the clubs VTJ Písek and JITEX Písek as VTJ JITEX Písek In 1994, The club advanced to the Czech 1.liga, which he played until 2005. In the 2004-05 season, he failed in the blending playoffs and relegated to Czech 2.liga. In the 2009-10 season, he advanced to the Czech 1.liga after 5 years. Following season 2010-11 the team finished the last place after the superstructure part and unsuccessful play-off for the 1st league, where the whole team took the last 5th place and they relegated again. However the club bought a licence for 1st league from HC Vrchlabí. After 2012-13 season played regional league. He succeeded in the 2014-15 season. 2nd Czech Republic Hockey League
The 2nd Czech Republic Hockey League (or Czech 2.liga) is the third-level ice hockey league in the Czech Republic under the 1st Czech Republic Hockey League. It began in 1993. Format From 1993 to 2001 the league was divided into the Western and Eastern divisions. From the 1996/1997 season the play-offs were introduced, they were joint for both divisions From 1999 to 2001 the Western and Eastern division had separate play-offs. Since the 2001/2002 season the current division to Western, Central and Eastern applies, with the exception of the 2008/2009 season when the Central Division was incorporated into the Western Division. . From the 2001/2002 season the Western and Central divisions have joint play-offs, while the Eastern Division has separate play-offs. Mountfield Hokejový Klub is a professional men's ice hockey club based in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. It is a member of the Czech Extraliga. The club was formed after the original HC Mountfield was unable to resolve a sponsorship dispute. History Mountfield HK aligns itself with the history of Královští Lvi, a club formed in Hradec Králové in 1926 that operated a men's team until 2013. In the meantime, Mountfield a.s., a Czech-based home and garden retailer, owned and operated a hockey club in České Budějovice from 2006 to 2013. Following the 2012–13 season, the Czech Extraliga reached a sponsorship deal with Radegast to sell its beer in all Extraliga arenas.
