1993 Uzbek League
The 1993 Uzbek League season was the 2nd edition of top level football in Uzbekistan since independence from the Soviet Union in 1992. FK Neftchi Farg'ona, Neftchi Farg'ona once again won the league and the championship outright this time after previously sharing with FC Pakhtakor Tashkent, Pakhtakor Tashkent the season before. On winning the championship, Nefchi also qualified for the next edition of the AFC Champions League, the first time a club side from Uzbekistan would play in AFC competitions. They would also enter the 1994 Commonwealth of Independent States Cup a competition for former members of the Soviet Union. FC Pakhtakor, Pakhtakor Tashkent won the Uzbek Cup#1993, 1993 Uzbek Cup and would take their place in the 1994–95 Asian Cup Winners' Cup. FK Samarqand-Dinamo, Dinamo Samarqand and FK Kosonsoy, Kushon Kosonsoy were relegated. Uzbek League
Uzbekistan Super League ( uz, O'zbekiston Superligasi), also called Coca-Cola Uzbekistan Super League due to sponsorship reasons ( uz, Coca-Cola O'zbekiston Superligasi / Coca-Cola Ўзбекистон Суперлигаси), is the top division of professional football in Uzbekistan. It is operated under the auspices of the Uzbekistan Professional Football League and Uzbekistan Football Association. It was founded in 1992 and currently played with 14 teams. MHSK Tashkent
MHSK ( uz, Марказий Ҳарбий спорт клуби, translit=Markaziy Harbiy Sport Klubi) was an Uzbekistani football club based in Tashkent. Its abbreviation meant Army Central Sports Club, similar to the Soviet equivalent CSKA. History The year of establishment is unknown, yet the club participated in the Soviet competitions since 1946. Until 1988 it played as part of the Soviet Armed Forces sports club which often was changing its name. Since 1955 it was named as SKA Tashkent. In 1989 it was transformed into a junior squad as Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery, SKA-RShVSM Tashkent. With the fall of the Soviet Union in 1992, the club became a farm club of FC Pakhtakor Tashkent as Pakhtakor-79 Tashkent. Since 1993 and until 2001 the club played as MHSK Tashkent. FC Neftchi Fergana
FC Neftchi Fergana ( uz, Neftchi Fargʻona futbol klubi, Uzbek Cyrillic: Нефтчи Фарғона футбол клуби) is an Uzbek football club based in Fergana. They play in the top division in Uzbekistani football and are multiple champions of Uzbekistan. History Neftchi was founded 1962 and appeared in the Soviet Second League (Central Asian Division) from 1962 to 1991 under the name ''Neftyanik Fergana''. In 1990, the club advanced to the Soviet First League, winning Soviet Second League, conference ''East''. 1994–95 Asian Club Championship
The 1994–95 Asian Club Championship was the 14th edition of the annual international club football competition held in the AFC region (Asia). It determined that year's club champion of association football in Asia. Thai Farmers Bank FC from Thailand crowned Asian champion for the second consecutive year. FK Guliston ( uz, Гулистон футбол клуби) ( tg, Dastai futboli Guliston, fa, گلستان) is an Uzbekistani football club based in Guliston, Sirdaryo Region. History FK Guliston played 4 seasons in the Uzbek League: 1993, 1994, 2000, 2003. In 1992 the club won the First Division and were promoted to the Uzbek League. The club played until 1994 under the name of ''Shifokor Guliston''. In 2001 FK Guliston and FK Yangiyer merged into ''FK Sirdaryo'' representing the Sirdaryo region. Since 2009 the club has played under the name of FK Guliston again with FK Yangiyer representing a separate team as well. At the end of season 2011 FK Guliston were promoted to top league. FK Andijan
Football Club Andijan, also known as FC Andijan, is an Uzbek football club based in Andijan. The club plays in Uzbekistan Super League. History The club was formed 1964 under the name ''Spartak''. In 1969 the club was renamed ''Andijanez''. After 1990 the club played in Uzbek League as ''Navruz Andijan''. Since 1997 the club has played as ''FK Andijan''. In 1964–70, 1973–74 and 1986–91 the club played in Soviet League championships.
