Gilberto Jerónimo Yearwood (born 15 March 1956) is a Honduran former football player who currently is an Assistant coach of the El Salvador national football team. He is by many regarded as one of Honduras' best players of all time. Club career Nicknamed ''el Vikingo'' (The Viking), Yearwood has played mostly in defensive midfield and started his career at Real C.D. España in his native country. In 1977, he moved abroad to play in Spain and spent 10 season playing for Elche CF, Real Valladolid, CD Tenerife and Celta de Vigo. Arnold Javier Cruz Argueta (born 22 December 1970 in El Progreso) is a retired Honduran football defender. He currently is manager of second division side UPNFM. Club career Nicknamed ''Chele'', Cruz started his professional career at Olimpia before moving abroad to join compatriot César Obando at Mexican outfit UA Tamaulipas. Erick Lonnis Bolaños (born 9 September 1965 in San José) is a retired Costa Rican football goalkeeper who played during the 1990s and early 2000s. Club career Lonnis made his debut in the Costa Rica Premier Division for Cartaginés on 22 July 1990 against Herediano and also played for Carmelita. He however played the majority of his career for Deportivo Saprissa, where he reached local stardom, becoming one of the most emblematic figures for the fans, either as Saprissa's or Costa Rica's national squad goalkeeper. Javier Astúa Araya (6 November 1968 – 4 January 2022) was a Costa Rican professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Born in Quepos, Astúa played several years for Municipal Puntarenas and played two matches for Mexican outfit Morelia in September 1992. He had a frustrating four-month stint at Chilean side Palestino, before returning to Costa Rica where he joined Alajuelense. He later played for San Carlos, who released him in November 1995 after an injury-hit spell. In March 2006, he was released by Herediano. 1993 CONCACAF Gold Cup
The 1993 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the second edition of the Gold Cup, the soccer championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF). The format of the tournament stayed the same as in 1991: eight teams were broken up into two groups of four, with the top two in each group advancing to the semifinals. It was the first Gold Cup to be co-hosted; Group A was held in the United States (Dallas), and Group B in Mexico (Mexico City). The tournament was won by Mexico, who beat the US 4–0 in the final. Panama National Football Team
The Panama national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Panamá) represents Panama in men's international football and is governed by the Panamanian Football Federation. The team represents all three FIFA, CONCACAF and the regional UNCAF. Panama qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the first time for the 2018 tournament in Russia and scored their first goal of the World Cup against England, although they lost the match 6–1. They finished bottom of their group. Panama finished as runners-up in the 2005 Gold Cup and 2013 Gold Cup, losing to the United States on both occasions. Panama has also competed in the sub-regional Copa Centroamericana which they won in 2009, beating Costa Rica in the final (0–0 on full-time, 5–3 on penalties).
