Leukerbad (french: Loèche-les-Bains, Walliser German: ''Leiggerbad'', although locally known as ''Baadu'') is a municipality in the district of Leuk in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. Jacqueline "Jackie" Lockhart (née Steele, born 22 March 1965) is a Scottish curler who has competed prolifically in major international competitions for Scotland, and for the Great Britain team that competes at the Olympic Winter Games. Dordi Agate Nordby (born 8 April 1964 in Bærum) is a retired Norwegian curler from Snarøya. Nordby has amassed an array of medals in major international competitions over a career spanning three decades, including two world championship gold medals and two European championship gold medals. Career Having made her international debut for Norway as early as 1981, Nordby played for her country at the curling exhibition event in the Calgary Winter Olympics, where the team won a 'bronze medal' - which of course had no official status. Andy Kapp
Andreas "Andy" Kapp (born 8 December 1967) is a German curler from Unterthingau. After a number of several tournaments at the Junior, Olympic and World Championship levels, Kapp surprised many by winning the 1992 European championship. The next year however, he finished only 7th, but at the 1994 World Championships he and his team won the bronze medal. The next year, Kapp would go on to win the bronze medal once again. Two years later, at the 1997 World Championships, Kapp achieved his best showing at a World Championship, as he led his team to a silver medal, losing to Sweden's Peja Lindholm in the final. Kapp would also win his second European championships in December that year, soon before the first ever official medal Olympics for curling in Nagano. Jan Henri Ducroz
Jan Henri Ducroz (born 6 May 1971) is an internationally elite curler from Chamonix, France. He made his World Championship debut at the 2007 Ford World Men's Curling Championship with a team skipped by Thomas Dufour. The team finished the round robin competition with a 6 - 5 record and in a four way tie for fourth place. They lost their tiebreaker against Team Sweden skipped by Peja Lindholm. In 2008 he returned to the World Championships with the same team and again ended the round robin portion with a 6 - 5 record, this time to finish in fifth place. Team Dufour's third trip to the world championships was less successful. They finished with a 4 - 7 record and in eighth place; however, it was good enough to earn a spot for Team France at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Peter "Peja" Rutger Lindholm (born 2 June 1970 in Östersund, Sweden) is a retired Swedish curler. Markus Eggler (born 22 January 1969 in Thun) is a retired Swiss curler from Münchenstein. Eggler was the skip of the Swiss team at the , and World Junior Curling Championships. Tommy Stjerne (born 20 July 1957 in Copenhagen) is a Danish curler. Stjerne curls out of Hvidovre Curling Club outside Copenhagen.
