The 1992–93 Segunda División B season was the 16th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 5 September 1992, and the season ended in 27 June 1993 with the promotion play-off final games. Segunda División B
Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. The Segunda División B included the reserve teams of a number of La Liga and Segunda División teams. Founded in 1971, it is the youth football of SC Torrevieja CF, holding home matches at ''Estadio Vicente García''. Club de Fútbol Sporting Mahonés was a Spanish football team based in Mahón, Menorca, in the autonomous community of Balearic Islands prior to its 2012 dissolution. The club has a successor called ''Sporting Mahón'' in the local Menorcan league. C.F. Sporting Mahonés resulted from the merger of two other Mahon teams, Club Deportivo Menorca and Union Deportiva Mahon, in July 1974. They began life in the regional divisions of Balearic football before progressing to the Spanish Third Division in 1977–78.
