Sadou Hayatou
Sadou Hayatou (15 February 1942 – 1 August 2019) was a Cameroonian politician. Hayatou served as the List of Prime Ministers of Cameroon, 4th Prime Minister of Cameroon from 26 April 1991 to 9 April 1992. Biography Hayatou was born in Garoua. His brother, Issa Hayatou, was for a long time, the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). He was appointed to the government of Cameroon as Minister of Agriculture in 1984. He was the Minister of Finance of Cameroon from 1987 to 1990. After his stint as Prime Minister, Hayatou became National Director of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC), leaving that post on January 1, 2008. Despite the official retirement age at the Bank being 60, Hayatou was kept in his post for five additional years by BEAC Governor Jean-Félix Mamalepot.Brice R. Simon Achidi Achu (5 November 1934 – 4 May 2021) was a Cameroonian politician who served as the prime minister of Cameroon from 1992 to 1996. Previously he was Minister of Justice from 1972 to 1975. Parliamentary elections were held in Cameroon on 1 March 1992. They were first multi-party elections for the National Assembly since 1964, although they were boycotted by the Social Democratic Front and the Cameroon Democratic Union. The result was a victory for the ruling (and formerly sole legal party) Cameroon People's Democratic Movement, which won 88 of the 180 seats. Presidential elections were held in Cameroon on 11 October 1992. They were the first presidential election since multi-party politics had been legalised, and were also the first to feature more than one candidate. Incumbent Paul Biya won with 39.98% of the vote. University Of Buea
University of Buea (UB) is found in Molyko, Buea, in the southwest region of Cameroon. It was founded as a university centre in 1985 and became a full-fledged university in 1992, following a government decree that re-organized state universities in the country. It is regarded as the best university in Cameroon and is one of two English speaking universities in Cameroon, alongside the University of Bamenda, which follow the British system of education.
