The 1992 Polish Speedway season was the 1992 season of motorcycle speedway in Poland. Individual Polish Individual Speedway Championship The 1992 Individual Speedway Polish Championship final was held on 6 September at Zielona Góra. Tomasz Gollob won the Polish Championship for the first time. Golden Helmet The 1992 Golden Golden Helmet ( pl, Turniej o Złoty Kask, ZK) organised by the Polish Motor Union (PZM) was the 1992 event for the league's leading riders. The final was held at Wrocław on the 15 October. Tomasz Gollob won the Golden Helmet for the first time and therefore completing the Polish Championship and Golden Helmet double. Piotr Baron (żużlowiec)
Piotr Baron (born 5 February 1974) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. Career Baron represented Poland during the 1993 Speedway World Team Cup and won the 1993 Bronze Helmet. He spent the majority of his career riding for Wrocław, where he won three Polish league championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005. After retiring he later became the team manager of Unia Leszno. Zenon Kasprzak (born 10 May 1962) is a former international speedway rider from Poland. Speedway career Kasprzak reached the final of the Speedway World Championship in the 1988 Individual Speedway World Championship. He rode in the top tier of Polish Speedway from 1980-2000, riding for various clubs. Wojciech Załuski (speedway Rider)
Wojciech Załuski (born 22 February 1963) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. He was the 1989 Polish champion. Career Załuski came to prominence in 1984, when he won the Polish Junior Individual Speedway Championship. He became the champion of Poland after he won gold at the Polish Individual Speedway Championship in 1989. He also won the prestigious Golden Helmet during the 1989 Polish speedway season. He rode for his home club of Kolejarz Opole from 1981 to 1991. During 1991, he represented Poland in the 1991 Speedway World Pairs Championship. He joined Sparta Wrocław for five seasons from 1992 to 1997 and won the Team Speedway Polish Championship on three occasions. He then joined Wybrzeże Gdańsk for two seasons before returning to Opole in 1999, where he saw out the end of his career in 2002. Andrzej Huszcza
Andrzej Huszcza (born 10 March 1957 in Krępa, Poland) is a Polish former international motorcycle speedway rider who was a reserve (did not ride) in the 1988 World Final in Vojens, Denmark. Huszcza rode for Falubaz Zielona Góra for thirty years from 1975 until 2005. He then spent two seasons with PSŻ Poznań before finally retiring aged fifty. Huszcza spent two seasons in the UK riding for the Hackney Hawks, Reading Racers and the Leicester Lions in the British League. In 2008, he returned to ZKŻ Zielona Góra as coach. Roman Jankowski
Roman Jankowski (born 5 October 1957 in Kościan, Poland) is a speedway rider active from 1976 until 2006. He is a former Polish Champion, having won the title in 1981 and again in 1988. Roman has also represented Poland at the World Team Cup. He rode for the Hackney Hawks in 1980 and 1981. Currently he is the youth coach and manager of Unia Leszno. Jacek Rempała
Jacek Rempała (born 16 February 1971) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. Career Rempała represented Poland during the 1991 Speedway World Team Cup. He rode in Poland for 27 years and spent much of it with Unia Tarnów. He won the 1991 Silver Helmet and the 1993 Bronze Helmet. He first rode in Britain when he signed for the Ipswich Witches for the 1992 British League season.
