1991–92 Slovenian Football Cup
The 1991–92 Slovenian Football Cup was the first season of the Slovenian Football Cup, Slovenia's football knockout competition, and the last that was played by the old rules from SR Slovenia. All Slovenian clubs competed in their regional MNZ Cups, with eight winners securing their place in the quarter-finals of the Slovenian Cup. From there on clubs played by the East/West system to the final. Nogometno društvo Gorica, commonly referred to as ND Gorica or simply Gorica, is a Slovenian football club based in the town of Nova Gorica. Saša Gajser (born 11 February 1974) is a Slovenian football coach and former player who played as a midfielder. Gajser was internationally capped for Slovenia, earning 27 appearances between 1999 and 2003. Club career Gajser started his professional career with Maribor in 1992. He stayed there for three seasons, making 22 appearances in all competitions. Later, he had spells with the second division sides Drava Ptuj and Ljubljana. Zoran Ubavič
Zoran Ubavič (28 October 1965 – 21 November 2015) was a Slovenian footballer who played as a forward. Ubavič spent his entire career playing for Slovenian clubs and was also capped once for the Slovenia national team, on 3 June 1992 in a friendly against Estonia in Tallinn. He was the top scorer of the Slovenian PrvaLiga in its inaugural 1991–92 season, and is Olimpija's all-time leading goalscorer with 167 goals in 283 games across all competitions.
