The 1991 Seattle Seahawks season was the team's 16th season with the National Football League (NFL). The 1991 season was the last season for head coach Chuck Knox, who left to become head coach of the Los Angeles Rams while president and general manager Tom Flores replaced him. The Seahawks defense, led by future hall of Famer Cortez Kennedy, finished 8th on the season in both yards and scoring. This season was the last time a team played the same team in back to back games until the 2021 season when the Cleveland Browns played the Baltimore Ravens back to back, with a bye week in between. The American Football Conference – Western Division or AFC West is one of the four divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The division comprises the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers. Hofstra Pride Football
The Hofstra Pride football (formerly the Hofstra Flying Dutchmen) program was the intercollegiate American football team for Hofstra University, located on Long Island in Hempstead, New York. Hofstra competed in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and were members of the Colonial Athletic Association. Its first football team was fielded in 1937, and the program compiled a record through 2009. The nickname changed to Pride in 2000; following the 2009 season on December 3, the university announced the termination of the football program. Under NCAA rules, football players could transfer to other schools and play immediately, without a waiting period, and scholarship-holders who wished to stay at Hofstra were permitted to keep their scholarships. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. The Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds are the athletic teams that represent Eastern New Mexico University, located in Portales, New Mexico, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. Michael Sinclair (American Football)
Michael Glenn Sinclair (born January 31, 1968) is a former American football defensive end and defensive line coach. He played 11 seasons in the National Football League with the Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles. Sinclair was a three-time Pro Bowler in 1996, 1997 and 1998. He led the NFL in sacks in 1998 with 16.5, which is also the Seahawks single season franchise record.
