Yuri Sapega
Yuri Sapega ( be, Юрый Мікалаевіч Сапега; russian: Юрий Николаевич Сапега; 1 January 1965 – 29 September 2005) was a Belarusian professional volleyball player and coach. He was a member of the USSR National Team since 1986 and won a silver medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics, competing for the USSR. He was 194 cm tall and played both as passer-hitter and middle hitter. Sapega was nicknamed "The Poet" for his elegant style. Club volleyball Sapega played in Italy for Padova in the 1990s. Coaching After ending his career as player, Sapega worked as an assistant coach for the Russian national volleyball team, and later was a manager in the Russian Volleyball Championship. Viacheslav Platonov
Viacheslav Platonov (Russian: Вячеслав Платонов; 21 January 1939 – 26 December 2005) was a Russian volleyball player and coach. Vyacheslav Platonov began his volleyball career playing for the Russian club teams until 1967. He coached several clubs, notably Automobilist Leningrad, and achieved major success as a coach of the Russia men's national volleyball team. Konstantin Anatolyevich Ushakov (russian: Константин Анатольевич Ушаков; born 24 March 1970) is a Russian retired volleyball player, who was a member of the Men's National Team that won the silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Playing as a setter he won the 2002 Volleyball World League with Russia, and the 1999 World Cup. A four-time Olympian he also competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics, claiming the bronze medal.
