The 1990–91 Associate Members' Cup, known as the 1990–91 Leyland DAF Cup, was the eighth staging of the Associate Members' Cup, a knock-out competition for English football clubs in the Third Division and the Fourth Division. Vince Overson
Vincent David Overson (born 15 May 1962) is an English former professional footballer who played as a central defender. He made nearly 600 appearances in the Football League for Burnley, Birmingham City, Stoke City and Shrewsbury Town over a 20-year career. Career Overson was born in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and followed his brother Richard to Burnley after playing non-league football with Corby Town and Long Buckby. He turned professional in November 1979 and spent seven seasons at Turf Moor making 254 appearances scoring seven goals. Gerard Daniel Brannan (born 15 January 1972) is an English football coach and former footballer who is under-23s manager at EFL League One side Accrington Stanley. As a player he was a midfielder who notably played in the Football League for Tranmere Rovers, Manchester City and Wigan Athletic, as well as in the Scottish Premier League for Motherwell. Eric Walter Nixon (born 4 October 1962) is an English former professional footballer who played as goalkeeper. His career spanned 22 years, thirteen of which were spent at Tranmere Rovers. He played for thirteen different clubs and made over 500 league appearances before his retirement in 2004. Lou Macari
Luigi Macari (born 7 June 1949) is a Scottish former footballer and manager. He began his playing career at Celtic where he was one of the Quality Street Gang, the outstanding reserve team that emerged in the late 1960s that also included Kenny Dalglish and Danny McGrain. He is best known for his time at Manchester United, where he played over 400 games. He helped them win promotion back to the First Division and then played in their FA Cup win of 1977. Dennis Lincoln Bailey (born 13 December 1965) is an English former professional footballer. He is best remembered for being the last player before Mo Salah to score a league hatrick against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Bailey started his career at Watford playing in their youth and reserve sides between 1982 and 1984. He subsequently joined Barking, before joining Fulham on non-contract terms in November 1986. Robert Arthur Hopkins (born 25 October 1961) is an English former professional footballer who played as a winger. Hopkins was born in the Hall Green district of Birmingham, and started his playing career at Aston Villa his longest club he played for with whom he won the FA Youth Cup in 1980. He played in more than 300 Football League matches for Aston Villa, Birmingham City (in two spells), Manchester City, West Bromwich Albion, Shrewsbury Town and Colchester United. He also played in Hong Kong for Instant-Dict and for non-League clubs Solihull Borough and Bromsgrove Rovers. Nigel William Gleghorn (born 12 August 1962) is an English former professional footballer who played as a forward or central midfielder. Career Gleghorn worked as a firefighter, playing part-time for his local club Seaham Red Star in the Northern League Division Two, until successful trials at Ipswich Town led to the offer of a professional contract. Mark Yates (footballer)
Mark Jason Yates (born 24 January 1970) is an English former professional footballer and manager, most recently for Stourbridge. As a player, he played primarily in a central midfield role. Playing career Born in Birmingham, Yates began his football career as a trainee at hometown club Birmingham City, before going on to sign professional terms with the club in 1988. He spent a total of three seasons at St Andrew's, making 66 first team appearances, including one in the side that won the 1991 Football League Trophy. In 1991 Yates was sold to Burnley for £40,000 but struggled to hold down a regular position.
