1990–91 Taça De Portugal
The 1990–91 Taça de Portugal was the 52nd edition of the Portuguese Association football, football knockout tournament, organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The 1990–91 Taça de Portugal began in September 1990. The final was played on 2 June 1991 at the Estádio Nacional. C.F. Estrela da Amadora, Estrela da Amadora were the previous holders, having defeated S.C. Farense 2–0 in the 1990 Taça de Portugal Final, previous season's final. Cup holders Estrela da Amadora were eliminated in the seventh round by cup finalists S.C. Beira-Mar, Beira-Mar. In the final, F.C. Porto, Porto defeated S.C. Beira-Mar, Beira-Mar 3–1 to claim a seventh Taça de Portugal trophy. As a result of Porto winning the domestic cup competition, the ''Portistas'' faced 1990–91 Primeira Divisão winners S.L. Estádio Mário Duarte
Estádio Mário Duarte was a football stadium in Aveiro, Portugal. It was used as the stadium of S.C. Beira-Mar matches. The capacity of the stadium was 12,000 spectators. It was demolished in the summer of 2020 as part of the expansion plans of the city's hospital. Naming The name of the stadium comes from a Portuguese football player from Anadia, called Mário Duarte. Although he himself never had any connection to S.C. Beira-Mar, he was a famous person, often associated with the city of Aveiro. After the stadium's opening in 1935, it was decided that it would have his name, due to his social importance in the city of Aveiro. The nickname "O Velhinho" ("The Old One", in English) refers not only to the age of the stadium, but to the fact that it was abandoned for 12 years. Estadio Marcolino de Castro is a multi-use stadium in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home of Segunda Liga club CD Feirense. The stadium is able to hold 5,600 people. The stadium was built and opened in 1962. The stadium's first ever match was between the home side and Beira-Mar which ended 0-0.
