Big Eight Conference
The Big Eight Conference was a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)-affiliated Division I-A college athletic association that sponsored football. It was formed in January 1907 as the Missouri Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MVIAA) by its charter member schools: the University of Kansas, University of Missouri, University of Nebraska, and Washington University in St. Louis. Robert L. "Mickey" Joseph (born March 5, 1968) is a former American football coach and player. He served as the interim head coach at the University of Nebraska in 2022. Joseph was the associate head coach and wide receivers coach at Louisiana State University (LSU) from 2017 to 2021, and was also head football coach at Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma, from 2011 to 2012.
