All Japan Sports Prototype Championship
The , abbreviated as JSPC, formed by the Japan Automobile Federation, was a domestic championship which took place in Japan for Group C and IMSA GTP prototype cars and also featured cars that were eligible for touring car racing in its earlier years. Class A and Class B for production cars which were defined by the FIA (Group A and Group B) and the lead category, Class C would be for cars that are similar to IMSA's Camel Lights and the WEC's C2, whereas Class D was for C1/GTP cars. The series began in 1983 as All Japan Endurance Championship, an endurance championship with an intention to replace its domestic touring car championship and started out as a three-round event, including one which as it was part of the WEC round which meant drivers competing in the national series was counted into the world championship. Anthony Reid is a British auto racing driver, born on 17 May 1957 in Glasgow, Scotland. He was educated at Loretto School in Edinburgh. He lives in England. Spice Engineering was a British racing team founded by driver Gordon Spice with Raymond Bellm in the early 1980s, later becoming a successful sports car constructor in 1986. Bruno Giacomelli (; born 10 September 1952) is a retired racing driver from Italy. He won one of the two 1976 British Formula 3 Championships and the Formula Two championship. He participated in 82 Formula One Grands Prix, competing for the first time on 11 September 1977. He achieved 1 podium, and scored a total of 14 championship points. Early career Giacomelli began his career in Formula Italia, which he won in 1975. Tim Lee-Davey (born 20 February 1955) is a British former racing driver. Tim Lee-Davey was a member of the British Kart Team and was the Dunlop Star of Tomorrow Formula Ford Champion in 1980 driving the ex-James Weaver Tiga FF79 in his first full year of motor racing. He was also awarded a Grovewood Award Special Commendation that year. Lee-Davey finished 17th in the British Formula Three championship in 1982 and 12th in 1983. Allen Berg
Allen Bernard Berg (born August 1, 1961) is a Canadian former racing driver who raced for the Osella team in Formula One. Racing career Berg was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. He began in karting in 1978 and switched to cars when he was 20, into Formula Atlantic. In 1982 he won the prestigious Tasman Formula Pacific Series in Australia and New Zealand and entered the British Formula 3 series in 1983. However, his timing was bad since he had to compete against Ayrton Senna and Martin Brundle. He won one race (one which Senna and Brundle opted out of to compete for European F3 points and outright race win) and ended up fifth in the series. Manuel Reuter (born 6 December 1961 in Mainz) is a German former race car driver. Luis Pérez-Sala Valls-Taberner (born 15 May 1959) is a Spanish former racing driver who competed in Formula One, Formula 3, Formula 3000 and Touring Cars. He was also the team principal of HRT Formula 1 Team during the 2012 F1 season. David Sears (born 9 December 1955) is a former professional racing driver and son of touring car legend Jack Sears. Biography The Sears dynasty has been involved in motor racing for nearly 100 years and four generations. David won two British Formula Ford Championships in 1979 and then raced in Formula 3 against Nigel Mansell and Stefan Johansson with much success. Sears was asked to test for Lotus in Formula One but ultimately Nigel Mansell got the drive and Sears switched to racing touring cars for Ford, Toyota and Jaguar in the European Touring Car Championship.
